Well, today I did exactly that. There was a woman, wearing a burka, with packages, on an elevated subway platform. She was sitting in the middle of a row of seats, and nobody was sitting beside her because they were wary. I knew that there was a police officer, below, in the station. Someone is a little paranoid. What exactly was suspicious about her? That she was muslim? And I'm sure the lady that you bothered would love to thank you for wasting her time.
Maybe next time you can go to a mosque and wait for all the women in burkas to leave, ask them all for their names, jot them down, and call the cops just in case one of them decides to plant a bomb on a train.

I do not know if she was a Muslim, but I don??t know of any women that wear those hideous burkas that are not.
Her time was not wasted, because the cop simply showed his presence - he didn??t even say one word to her.
I know one thing: If they DO bomb anything again here, and people are killed, the streets are going to run red with their blood.

If you mean "Shut The Hell Up", why don't you just say that? Better yet, come to New York City and say it after a terrorist attack while these ragheads are getting massacred, and their businesses, homes and mosques are being burned down, by infuriated New Yorkers.
You and that other Asshole From Nebraska, who that said that I'm "fucking retarded", don't seem to understand that by talking to the police officer, I was trying to PREVENT possible violence against innocent people, and (maybe) not-so-innocent ones, as well.

Way to support racial profiling, you are a real patriot! Those damned rag heads can't be trusted! We should have separate parts of cities were we force them to live, or better yet we could create camps were we could send them so we don't have to even think about them. Yeah! We could send them all there on train packed to the gills, and when the camps get to crowded we could just make them "disappear"!
Fuck you, you fucking bigot.

"Bigot: a person who has strong, unreasonable beliefs and who thinks that anyone who does not have the same beliefs is wrong- example: a religious bigot"
This is what I'm talking about. We have over 100 ethnic groups in Brooklyn, and I work, socialize, and live in harmony with members of many of them every day - without problems. If I didn't like "diversity", I'd move.
Most Americans would be considered, by firm believers in the koran, to be an "infidels" that must be killed. I do not like the people that support these doctrines, wherever they come from. If you consider this bigotry, you are crazy.
You are an extremely disillusioned person if you think that the supporters of jihad terrorists are your friends. They'll kill you in a New York minute, given the opportunity. People like you, that curse out citizens who love freedom, may get what they wish for someday: an Islamic Theocracy in America, which is the goal of the Moslem practitioners. Unfortunately, if they do this, you'll either join them, or become their victim. If this happens, and they gain power, you??d better start praising Allah, or else face the consequences. And forget about any criticisms, or parodies, of their religion. The Dutch, and others, already learned the hard way what happens when somebody tries it.

I understand that you're scared, but there is absolutely no need for the level of intolerance that you exhibiting. You might also ask one of the people you socialize with what the Koran actually says about killing for any reason.
And how did you know that "an Islamic Theocracy in America" just beat out "world that rains candy" as my number one wish? Furthermore, I will curse out anyone who is an intolerant bigot (yes I used it again because it does apply to you. read your definition and contemplate it for a while). I have no doubt that you love freedom. Freedom for you, freedom for the select few, not for the many Muslim Americans or Americans of Islamic descent. You should go to where the World Trade Center used to stand and think to yourself: "This is what misdirected hate, anger and fear results in. The only difference between them and me is that I haven't taken it out on anyone innocent. Yet."

Ask the Moslems about "intolerance". I've read Paki newspapers - even the "moderate" Moslems want to take over this whole society and run it according to their religion. This is human nature, but they must not be permitted to do this.
I am not "scared" of these animals. I was "sad" for a long time, after 9/11. And angry, like everybody here. I've since come to terms with it. If I were scared, I wouldn't even live here, or work in the shadows of where the WTC used to be. BTW, I worked in the Trade Centers years ago.
What qualifies YOU to tell us that the Moslem extremists are not a threat to this society? Are you supposed to be some sort of expert, or do you have inside info?
Here's some advice, kid: stick to things that you know, because you don't know shit about this. What streets, if any, did you grow up in? I'd really like to hear some of your story - your ignorance is overwhelming, and there must be some explanation. Are you from a farm, or the suburbs? You can't be from an urban background, at least none that I know of.

I'm not going to take your bait about the "fancy hat" - you know that what I'm talking about is a hood - which nobody in their right mind would wear in public, except maybe on Halloween. Wearing this in the city that has the site of the worst mass murder in the history of the United States is not acceptable in light of the fact that Moslims did it.
You're living in the fantasy world of youth. I'd suggest reading the other posting, by Amsterdam, about what is going on in Holland. It's nothing as compared to 9/11, but it's a disgrace nonetheless.
Geez, these kids -gotta love their idealism. I was like that too, a long time ago. It's embarrassing to remember, when you grow up, but that's the way it's always been.
You'll change, or modify, your values as you mature, gain new awareness, and take on real responsibilities.
Good luck.

That's the funniest thing I've heard here yet! You could do an off-Broadway show, similar to the musical Springtime for Hitler, in The Producers. Perhaps you could call it All Hail Bin Laden, Our Leader! Maybe you could get a bit part, as osama's token non-Arab man-servant.

Absolutely ridiculous. Could you be more paranoid and pathetic? By your logic they should ban all Muslims from being allowed to walk American streets, because mindless, intolerant individuals like yourselves are threatened by the very sight of them. It's called racial profiling idiot, you can't excuse yourself for it. Grow up and learn a little respect and tolerance. If that's too much to ask, go spout your proud bigotry elsewhere.

First: paki newspaper + american newspaper = spreading fear and hate within their own citizens so then the country is easier to govern, because these citizen all of a sudden rely on their government...plus this gets to racism...shall we hate them as much they hate us?
Second: Who told extremist moslim are not a threat? they are, but again shall we put them all in the same basket...
Third: Are you supposed to be some sort of expert, or do you have inside info? If so please tell me i'll be the first to agree with you then...if not please do not rely on news paper to take your information, too much money involved...
Fourth: You try to diminish the credibility of someone on his past and yours and therefor give an opinion that is not objective...And we must not stick to what we already know otherwise we won't know anything else!
Finally: You reaction in the subway if your story is the exact thing that happened was right...you didn't bring down anyone andmade nobody feel bad really, maybe that lady didn't notice the cop...But still we must not spread fear by over reacting to terrorism threat...

I agree, our country should not be run by anyone's religious beliefs. Not Muslim nor Christian, but someone else's intolerance doesn't justify your own. By doing this you bring America to the same level as Pakistan, and I'm sure that's not your intention.
I am not "scared" of these animals.
Good for you. You don't sound it, but good for you none the less

Do you think you were the only one who felt that way. I have news for you buddy. They didn't just attack New York City, they attacked America. BTW my father was in the pentagon when it was hit and I lost an aunt in the north tower. How far away from the WTC were you when it was hit asshole?
What qualifies YOU to tell us that the Moslem extremists are not a threat to this society? Are you supposed to be some sort of expert, or do you have inside info?
No, I'm not qualified in any way other than being a rational human being. Sure extremist are set against us, but in your previous posts you didn't have that a narrow of a focus. I don't think that poor woman who caught your ire for nothing more than wearing a burka and having packages was an extremist. Maybe you come to you senses (what little you may have) that you're thoughts that an entire group of people are out to get you are paranoid and delusional.
Here's some advice, kid: stick to things that you know, because you don't know shit about this. What streets, if any, did you grow up in? I'd really like to hear some of your story - your ignorance is overwhelming, and there must be some explanation. Are you from a farm, or the suburbs? Oh so now you're an expert on the Muslim mentality. Where did you learn about this? The big mean streets of NYC? I hear their school of theology is top notch (it must be, for your illuminating platform that all Muslims are nothing but murderers, tre magnifique!).
You're not very persuasive, and I know that attacking me on a personal level will somehow make you feel like you've accomplished something (you have already got a good start on it), but you should be able to debate this on the facts presented. Your need to attack the person instead of the point is another sign of your "I'm hard. I'm from the streets" ignorant ass mentality, but let me tell you a little about myself any way. I grew up many different places. Yes I lived on a ranch for a while and in the suburbs, but I have also lived in cities big and small, good and bad. The explanation for my "ignorance" is simple. I have experienced many things and have come to the conclusion that living with people if far more beneficial than just subjugating them, you would think that some one who lives somewhere so diverse would know that. Wait, I forgot. Though there are many different people that live there, they all mostly keep to their own, creating segregated communities. I guess now I understand the reason for your ignorance. Fear, hate, anger and now racial bias. You're still, most probably will always be a intolerant, xenophobic bigot. I'm done trying to talk some sense into you. I can only hope you'll stop trying to justify it in you mind (and on internet massage boards) and realize that you're nothing but a terrorist in your own right. Willing to do and say anything to keep your antiquated belief system alive. Maybe when you grow up (no I??m not talking physically or chronologically, but mentally) you??ll look back on this and be embarrassed.

First: paki newspaper + american newspaper = spreading fear and hate within their own citizens so then the country is easier to govern, because these citizen all of a sudden rely on their government...plus this gets to racism...shall we hate them as much they hate us?
Answer: If they hate us, then keep them out of the United States.
Second: Who told extremist Muslim are not a threat? they are, but again shall we put them all in the same basket...
Answer: I don't understand the wording of the question.
Third: Are you supposed to be some sort of expert, or do you have inside info? If so please tell me i'll be the first to agree with you then...if not please do not rely on news paper to take your information, too much money involved...
Answer: I was across the street from the WTC when they tried to bring it down in '93. I was a couple of blocks away on the morning of 9/11. My wife worked in the World Financial Center, next door to the WTC. She had a doctor appointment that day and was uptown.
The firehouse, across the street from the WTC, was emptied after 9/11 - and hundreds of other firemen and police officers lost their lives. Their Catholic chaplains were giving last rights to those that were doing rescue missions. People were jumping to their deaths - which I fortunately did not see.
Fourth: You try to diminish the credibility of someone on his past and yours and therefor give an opinion that is not objective...And we must not stick to what we already know otherwise we won't know anything else!
Answer: A person that has his home in Nebraska, and says that there is no threat of terrorism, is either stupid or living in a fantasy world.
Finally: You reaction in the subway if your story is the exact thing that happened was right...you didn't bring down anyone andmade nobody feel bad really, maybe that lady didn't notice the cop...But still we must not spread fear by over reacting to terrorism threat...
Answer: As I said, we are barraged on a daily basis by the police and TA to report anything unusual. A person with a burka and packages should be looked at. I have to go through metal detectors, and have my knapsack searched AND put my cell phone, pocket change, keys, etc. through an airport-style metal detector every day, several times a day - and this has been the way it is for four years. I don't mind so much, and I'm not complaining if it means more safety. If I were to try to walk the streets with a hood over my head, like the burka-wearers, I'd be arrested, assaulted by civilians, or both.

Perhaps if you'd like to be a hero in the "war on terrorism", you should join the army, snitching on women on the subway doing their shopping impresses no one.
How do you know that she was just doing shopping? I??m sure that the ones who have bombed places in other countries were also thought to be ??just shopping?, by the people around them. I??m just advising that radical fundamentalist Moslems, especially disguised in burkas, and carrying large bags, should be watched.
I'm not trying to be a "hero", or "impress" anyone. The Army is not here doing anything directly to stop terrorism in New York City, or most of the rest of the country. Whether the Iraq war helps us, or was necessary, remains to be seen. Besides, even if I were young enough to join, I'd be 4F due to several things.
It's up to citizens to help stop this - the police need our help. I do not mind being stopped and having my gym bag or knapsack searched when entering the subways, etc., but I think that the people that are affiliated with Islamic fundamentalism should be subject to the same thing. Citizens should be alert and partner with the police.
I'll tell you something: Some members of minority communities in New Jersey, the Bronx, Brooklyn, ect. have no qualms about beating the living shit out of Moslems. This is wrong. I just want them to be watched, like everybody else - not less. The burkas should be illegal to wear in the streets. Some MOSLEM societies have banned them over the centuries. Here's something that I agree with them on, albeit for different reasons.
Bringing a potentially dangerous person to the attention of the police is not "snitching". There is no reason that the police, who have been put back in the subways since last summer's threats of attacks on NYC, should be ignored and/or feared by honest citizens. I'm paying them, with my taxes, for protection, and I'm going to use their service as I see fit. This is NOT the same as reporting a shoplifter, tax cheat, welfare fraud, etc., to the authorities

The people that are in the most danger are the Moslems ?? due to the actions of the lunatic fringe of their society, and the reactions of the "lunatic" fringes of ours.
They must either:
A.)Eliminate the threat themselves
B) Help the authorities find them
The threat of violence against the innocent Moslem community is not something that I concur should exist, therefore the only way to contain that, and also protect against possible terrorist attacks, is to provide extra surveillance of them. It will provide discouragement to would-be jihads, as well as homegrown bigots and vigilantes.
If anybody thinks this is not necessary, or that it is ??bigoted?, I??d once again advise them to consider the alternative of letting things get out of hand, have the mobs take it upon themselves to act, and go the course of pogroms, lynching, riots, etc. against this community.
You want ??em, this is what we??re up against, and you??re damned if you do, and damned if you don??t. Let??s allow more people that deserve to live here, and want to work, prosper, and contribute to society while becoming new citizens. Do we really want this current situation? I know I don??t. I have no problem with the more secular, moderate to progressive, hard-working Middle Eastern people. They tend to do well because they are educated, middle class, self-sufficient, and totally non-destructive. They do not like terrorists, don't force their women to wear burkas, don't teach their children to hate people that are different, and best of all want to be Americans and make this their home. Those are the right people, and ALL races and ethnic groups that come here should have at least some understanding of, and wish to develop, these traits - for themselves and for their descendants .
If the immigrants don??t even have a chance of doing that, or even recognizing the importance of it, then we don??t need, or want, them.
