ive smoked with my dad before, i thought it was cool as fuck, but looking back (im 17 i was like 13 then) i see it to be very irresponsible. but everyone is different. its not that i wouldnt now, but when i smoked with him i was way to young.

Dewd I want your daughter. I only have a few months until I'm illegal though.
Can we trade. An OZ of hash for a night with your daughter?
j/k
I never smoked with my dad but I've smoked with my aunt, uncle, friends parents and lots of family.

I've never smoked with my parents, but I doubt they'd say no if I offered. They too are old hippies, and while I don't think they still smoke, they'd smoke with me if I provided-- I think.
As a son about your daughter's age, all I can say is this: be open with her about your past and trust her to make the decisions that are right for her. Don't pressure her to either smoke or not smoke, and just make sure that she understands the concept of responsible use-- of anything. And hell, if she wants a safe smoking environment, there's nothing better than smoking with your parents, right?

No, I wont party with my kid. shes 23 and NEVER! I definitely have a major double standard. Just because I do it doesnt mean I want my kid to do it. She is old enuff to do her own thing, thankfully she doesnt do any drugs and she doesnt dring either. Her sperm donor was a jerk and was a coke head, in and out of jail, hes 46, cant keep a roof over his head, etc... She wants nothing to do with the culture at all. She knows I'm a toker but we dont usually smoke when shes around. Shes young, encourage her brain cell growth.

id wait till they were older, 15 or 16...theyre gunna try it either way...its best to wait with smoking with her until she can think for herself...remember, when your 14, your parents are still your main role models
so wait for a few years...but dont hide that you do from her...and if she initiates, well what the hell, pull out the ol water pipe

well, my friends dad smokes with us and we are 14. i think its cool. he also grows a lot just for personal use, so we always go over there and have like unlimited amount of weed. plus, me and my friend(his son) saved up money to buy a bong. 226$ anyway, after we bought it(for exactly that price..lol) he wouldn't take the money so basically it was like a present.

dude. ill take your doughter off your hands, im slitly closer to her age well...in 2 months ill be 2 years older then her. JK but yea, if i had kids, then i think that they would almost be born with a blunt in there mouth, i mean my family on my dads side is 3rd generation of pot heads, and on my moms im second generatoin, althu, her mom and dad were into coke and heroin, shit like that. so who the hell knows. but when i have kids at a resposinble age, ill offer it to them, and uknow if they didnt take it i would be like, hey its your loss. u know u got to figure that as long as pot isnt compltly wiped out by the time my kids are in high school middel school age, i would figure they go to try the shit sum day rite?

Well I'm 17 and having a kid. And in a respectfully honest position. I'll make my son attend D.A.R.E. and do all sorts of research. I felt I could control my high better AFTER rehab. As strange as it is, I learned HOW to smoke (basically how to maintain my mental status better) in rehab. Which is funny.

I have never personally smoked with my parents. They are not into pot and both say they have never smoked. I have been on the other hand hooken my friends parents up with bud for like a year now. I'm not going to lie, it was a little wierd at first but now it is all set.

My daughter knew that I smoked, but I always just asked her to wait till she was through high school before she started smoking. I told her I started when I was 14 and I thought that was to young. I love pot just wish I had paid more attention to school instead of doing drugs. I grew up in California in the 70's. She is now 24 and she said she has been smoking since she was 19. She told me she did try it once when she was 15 but nevr smoked again till she was older. She likes it very much now and we smoke together when we are together. She lives in Las Vegas now though so I do not get to see her much. I hope to make it out there in the spring.

Up until hurricane katrina hit, my dad had never smoked with me, but after having to go thru all this bulls***, my dad finally desided 2 admit he smoked. i always knew after 17 years of living with him that he was a toker, and he knew i was too, but we never admited it to each other till we had 2 suffer from the wrath of katrina. Now I break my dad off with some bud every few days, n we always smoke together. I think its kool 2 see something postive happen because of something so negitave.

I've been smoking with my hippie parents since I was 17, and my first time smoking was with my sister when I was 16. It was a bit awkward at first, sure, but I've long since gotten over that and now it's a wonderful way for the family to bond. :D I wouldn't go back to the way it was before for all the money in the world.

my mom smoked with me when i was 14 i think it was a good idea because she let me do it so i had a safe place to do it instead of takign a chance of gettign caught i could do it in my own house also during my teenage years my mom and i had a far better realtionship than my friends (whose parents didnt approve of it)

that is a good question.........
my mom and dad would NEVER, EVER even admit they ever smoked out, so no i never did it with them,
but i have 2 sons (still young as hell) and i'm not really sure if i will or not.
i do know that i will still be smokin out when they are old enough...

My dad was a cop when I was very young, I am 34 now but he will not confirm or deny ever smoking pot. My dad is one of the most law-abiding persons you will meet and he will not lie. My mom on the other hand admitted smoking it with one of her students when she was a High School teacher in the early 1970's. When my mom was dying of pancreatic cancer in 2000-2001 I tried my hardest to get her to smoke some, it may have helped , it may not have. By the time I tried she had resigned herself to dying.

parents, u dont have to smoke with your kids but if they do be cool about it. i know my parents would kill me if they found out I smoked especially my dad because he's set on me playing baseball in college. It just causes so much stress on me to try to find a good time and place to do it and just drives a wedge between me and my parents.

I would definitely also want to wait until my kid is about 15 or 16 to even start thinking about that stuff. Around that age, if I ever found them smoking or got hints of it, I'd sit them down and just ask. And if they said yes...I'd lay down some basic rules, and pull out a fat hooter.

My best friend smokes with his teenage daughters. He has been for several years now.His oldest used to roll his joints for him when she was like 8.If you smoke there is no reason to be a hypocrite around your kids. One thing to forbid them to smoke until they are an adult but entirely another to hide the fact that YOU DO smoke.Children learn by example anyway, not by what they hear.

Me, my sister, her husband, and my uncle use 2 roll smoke all the time. Now its just me and my uncle. I'm suspect that 1 of my parents smoke, always finding a roach, in little cubby holes around the place. lol.

Once my brothers ex girlfriend asked me whether I wanted some truffels that would make me giggle...haha I was like 10 at the time (note, this is the reason why shes an ex) Anyways, i ate like 10 truffels (i was really overweight then too by the way!) and got so stoned!! My bro knew as soon as she dropped me off home that i was stoned and he dumped her as soon as i told him bout the truffels!
Looking back now, it kinda makes me laugh, but also pisses me off that she got a 10 year old stoned.
Anyways...would I smoke weed with my kids...hmmm, as long as they were 17 then probably but my fiance is really against drugs so would have to do it behind his back. But thinking about it now, would love to see my mum stoned lol

It's probably best to keep it completely away from them up until they start asking questions themselves. (Or when you as a parent notice those recognizable cute red-eyes :p)

im 20 now and i smoked with my dad once or twice a couple years ago.but all through my teenage years he was really cool about what i did and was into.he explained very clearly all the drugs and crazy shit hed done when he was my age and toled me he sincerely didnt want me to do this drug or that.and he toled me what was cool.then he toled me why and all the consequenses and things to expect with each drug or drinkin or smoking.he always encouraged me to be open with him about whatever i was doing.he brought me up knowing that he couldnt stop me from doing crazy things but he could educate me on how tough it can be and whats what.as an outcome i never tried anything other than drinking and smoking and never either in abundance for two reasons.my dad did a good job of exlaining the why and also for him telling me everything hes done and how it effected him i wouldnt do more than that out of respect for him...just be honest with your doughter let her know whats ok and why and the why nots.lt her know that she should never be afriad to ask u for help or tell you anything and u cant go wrong...zz

That is so true...shouting and screaming and just saying 'dont do this!!' is not a good way to go. Outlining the reasons why is excellent in educating young minds right from wrong.
My mum would just say 'drugs are bad' so as a result i wanted to try them all to see what the big deal was about...but thank god i never got my hands on anything harming!
