all these people who speak of the so called bad economy clearly have no idea what they are talking about. What world do they live in. i find it sad that so many people walk through life so poorly informed.

My 401k made me rich while Clinton was president, ever since GW came to office, I've lost my shirt. Maybe you are to young, or to stupid, to remember what a healthy economy looks like. If you like losing everything you own, vote republican again, me, I'm ready to start making money again.

don't worry, GW and rush limbaugh have both assured me that the more manufacturing jobs we lose, and the mose low wage service jobs we get, the better off we are...we want to be a 3rd world country with no manufacturing/production base, we just don't realize it yet.

Yes, the economy is going so strong that the largest private provider of healthcare in the world (GM) has had to dramatically cut benefits to its employees as they try to scratch and claw their way out of not declaring bankruptcy.

There should be a real debate about this. It's beyond me how anyone can possibly think the economy is fine.

Perhaps because nobody actually understands the economy as it's "theories", formulas, and "predictions" are always in a state of flux. In my experience all you have to do is read the headlines. Apparently as of reading this thread it's "going strong." :rolleyes:

i know the economy is bad cuase all the small towns are dying
