Making a wooden pipe

So far I have taken a wooden block, drilled a hole 4/5 of the way down and then drilled a hole from the top. Im planning on using my knife to carve the rest of it off so that it actually looks like a pipe.

After I'm done, is there anything I can coat it with to keep it from burning the wood as im toking? Cuz you know....Wood smoke isnt tasty and weed is. Also do you think I should make a carb or is that un necessary because I usually hold the carb the whole time I;m hitting it....I just dont see why I gotta use it. Thanks.

actualy i just realized i fucked up.. the hole isnt above the tubey part so if i were to pack it only like half of it would get lit since the sucking wouldnt hit the side thats not close to the tubey part.............................................. ....nvm

but I think im just gonna take a metal bowl thingie and hot glue it to the hole so that all of the weed gets smoked

yeah definately do not put a carb on a wooden pipe, carbs are only for pipes and bongs with a chamber you can fill with smoke

the only way to properly resinate a wooden pipe is to smoke fat bowls with really nice weed so that the wood gets lots of resin on it and then eventually it will be a top notch smoking device its just the first couple uses that taste like shit, but i dont do the pipe game anymore me lungs done allow it, its small bong rips and joints for me

Haha me and a friend did the same thing but the lazy way. We used this huge stationary drill and a round bit to make the bowl and a regular drill bit for the hole where you suck. Works ok but I'de rather a glass pipe anyday.

just bend a PBR 12 oz. can in half and punch holes in the top. load a bowl and proceed to get high. that gives you more time to enjoy the weed rather than being creative. However, once stoned begin your creative exploration with your wood :) .

i was gonna carve it more into a pipe but its so shitty that im gonna start over... im gonna drill a hole diagonally and then drill a hole on the side thats farthest away from the drill hole so that its actualy a pipe

I used to make wood pipes a bunch. dont try to coat that shit with anything but good resin. I have heard of kids coating the shit with like wood wax and stuff and burning their lungs out. yeah the pipe will tase like bigfoots dick for a bit but, hey, you gotta give ol' sasquatch a hummer every once in awhile, dont ya? well yeah. another good idea is in the pipe part (aka not the bowl) put a screen down in it and then weed and then another screen so that the smoke is filtered through the weed. it wont taste so bad and even if you use shitty weed, you can take it out later and smoke it and it will be quite strong stuff.

Im starting to think that this isnt going to be a good pipe... so does anyone kno of any way I could make a nice pipe outa something else? Maybe baking clay...or something... cuz wood is hard to use and its a bitch to carve the wood

Sorry that last post was somewhat rambling. yes filtering the smoke through the weed will help with the taste. and later you can take the weed out and smoke that and it will be super good. whatever. dont use polymer or acrylic clay. if you wanna smoke out of clay then u have to use natural clay. i would just go buy a glass pipe man.

i wish i could but see im only like 14 years old or something so I cant drive to a headshop.... Even if i knew of one around here...plus I barely have enough cash for weed so I dont think I could find a nice pipe i could afford.

What is good wood to make a pipe out of? I made a pipe out of my tree in my front yard.I just have to climb to THE "BRANCH" where theres a bowl,carb and little mouth part all on that one branch.One time I got so baked I fell out and broke my leg.

I made a wood pipe outta bloodwood. Its really badass, I drilled a hole down it for the chamber then made a bowl and drilled a tiny ass hole connecting the bowl and chamber. Then i grinded and cut and grinded and sanded and grinded and sanded some more, then used a blowtorch and just heated it pretty fuckin hot and it got a nice black with red grain pattern and looked badass, hit nice, and was only like 3 inches long. I also put a carb on it and rounded the bowl into a ball like shape. Unfortunatly i looked at it when i was using it one time and noticed it looked like a miny penis, lol. Badass pipe though, if I can find it ill post pics of it.

If there is a CVS near you they sell cheap cob pipes there. Of course they probably wouldn't sell one to a minor, but the age old solution would be to wait around for someone who 'looks cool' to get it for you.
I used one myself back in the day before I bought a glass peice and they hit pretty good.

dude u can get glass pieces for like 15 bucks. make an older friend. if u smoke weed dude u can find someone to get u a pipe, youll use it for the rest of ur life if u dont break it. its worth the money.
