Watering Seeds

How ofter should planted seeds be watered? Every day before they sprout or less often?

I'm watering my seeds about every 2 hours...

BUT!!!

I'm using about a capfull (from a Pepsi bottle) for all 5 seeds... so I don't think I'm over watering them. In addition, my pots are about 7inches high... so any "excess" water is quickly absorbed by the rest of the pot's soil.

Hope this helps... Keep an eye out for other suggestions, as this is my first grow, and I might be inadvertently giving you wrong information and even doing my watering incorrectly.
