well, I lost my job today. I got the news a few hours ago after work.

I and another guy install cable for a company that has a contract through another company. The other guy (who's a drunk) went to a customers house saturday night at 1am started pounding on their door. They called the cops on him and everything. Bam!! there goes (the company I worked for) their fucking contract. I'm out a job because of a drunk. :mad:

Why the hell did they fire you? Or did they lay you off because your company no longer has that particular contract?

exactly. The company lost the contract, thus putting me out of a job. They're trying to get something rolling but I have a feeling I'll be heading to the unemployment line.

Sorry to hear that. Hope something works out for you. While youre looking for a job, go to the employment office tomorrow and file a claim. No need to be broke while you look for your next job. Besides, you didnt get fired for anything you did. They'll accept your claim, Im sure
