It all depends on how you think they'll react. If you think they might try to make you quit or something, don't do it. Try to look at how they're handling the suspicion. Are they afraid of the idea of you smoking pot or do they not really make a big deal out of it?

im also 15 so i know how u feel. my dad also smokes alot of pot but my mom is very against it.. the only difference is that my parents are divorced, and dont talk alot. i think just wait until you get caught, unless they start making it obvious that theyre suspicious like looking at your eyes when u get home or asking alot of questions about where u were and that kinda shit. and when u do tell them , let them know that its just on weekends with friends and ud never think of any other drug. worked for me goodluck

I've been smoking Marijuana for the last <x> days/weeks/months/years. I know that it is nothing to be ashamed of because you do it, but I felt that I should tell you about it, because I respect you enough to not keep things from you. I hope that you will show me the respect that I have given you, and continue to allow me to smoke this herb. As I have shown of late, I can still smoke marijuana and be a successful teenager in school and such."

Smoking weed is a taboo subject with my dad and me. :) He's caught me doing it before, and I've caught him. We don't really talk about it. But we can tell when each other his high. He doesn't want me doing it, but doesn't enforce it, because I know he's doing it. Oh well... my mom has no clue because she is living with my step dad in S. Carolina. I'm pretty sure she'd flip her shit.I remember back when I was younger, around 8 or 9, every time one of those anti-drug commercials came up she would always have a talk about drugs with me. Dude I just have some advice. I went all out and told my parents thinking they would be cool about it because I know they toke it now and then but I was soooo wrong. They now bother me about drugs at least once a day, blame everything that happens on drugs (i.e. a few bad test grades, being tired, not doing chores), and worst of all they stole my stash of 3/4 a ounce and a $15 pipe.

P.S. my real parents where huge druggies who got way to deep and ended up in jail so this is probably why they flipped and are still flipping.

i say have a sit-down with them. but then again, some parents react differently. my mom knew i had been smoking, but just finally started calling me out on it. and lately, i've been telling her things that i always tried to hide. but then again, i didnt open up to her until she found my court order in the mail. but from experience, i'd say its better you tell them in an open conversation than because they found out you have to go to court.

I FINALLY DID IT!

here's how it went down. Today, after school, i IMed my mom and said "mom, i don't wanna sneak shit behind your back..."blah blah blah. she was way against it. But, she didn't say a word to my dad. Then, me and my dad went golfing, and when we were done we drove up to the canyon. we found sort of a road tucked away from the main paved road, my dad got up and got out and i said "what are you doing?" he turned around and said "i'ma smoke a fucking bowl, whaddaya think?" and i said "can i have some" and he said "you can't get high with me till your fuckin 18" so then i got out too, watched him take 2 hits, then he passed it to me and i was like YES! so i hit it and it all went good. then we went cruisin listening to Bob Dylan, Muddy Waters, and Pink Floyd. it was fucking badass. i feel fucking great.
