Man! Some of the stuff you people come up with. Obviously that was caused by the evil gateway drug "milk." Doctors have found that 100% of people dying tried or used this drug.
That URL is more important than what you are worried about. Jack's heart issues are hereditary, not smoke related. I guess you have not read enough out there to know in 4000 years the only way something or someone dies from this plant is from police action. But Jack Herer has done legendary research, that page and site contain your future and your past. Read it. Understand it. Get your freedom back and stop being so paranoid about your health with pot, it will be much better with than without!

Smoking pot raises Melatonin levels 4,000% (see signature), which prevents heart disease and cancer. A lot of heart attacks are heriditary. Weak hearts run in families. Smoking pot also creates freer flow of blood.

With Cannabis holding so much medical promise, it is hard to think that so much historical knowledge is supressed. Jack Herer did a fabulous job researching and putting online a very comprehensive book on it. From history to a pretty good coverage of the conspiracy to make it illegal. After reading it you will understand why the governments policy of supression of industrial and medical use had a rationality to it. Greed. They wanted to replace a free weed with "better living through chemicals." Better living with chemicals has brought us great famine, drought, floods, massive hurricaines etc. Jack also offers $10,000 to anyone who can show how pot CANNOT save the world.
I hope the original poster will do his homework and read to comprehend Jack's work.

You are joking of course.
I have smoked every day for over 40 years and have none of what you speak. My annual checkup shows absolute clear lungs. There was one spread of 3 days when I was 17 that I ran out of pot, never again. I am the real deal and been in the active part of this industry since they featured me in an Art Crumb comic in the early 60's. I am at most of the industry gatherings and almost everyone who is anyone knows about me.
The only bill here is your growing nose little feller. You are sold into the propaganda from Readers Digest. If you are having problems with your lungs, they are your inherited problem, not from the cannabis.

Holy smokes Bullwinkle! Where the hell do you get your information? DARE?
Now why is your heart beating so fast? Anticipation of your hit from the bong? Maybe living in a police state in constant fear can bring heart levels up? Do you even know how many calories one burns at any specific heart rate vs their weight at excercise, much less in fear? Talk about selling a bill of goods seedbare, your info is barren of reality and content.
What are you so afraid of? Why are you beating a panic drum? What are you doing smoking at all in your paranoid state? You need to seek attention to your fears before you can spread your wings.
I suggests attending to your lung problem, then figure out why you are using a substance you think is bad. You need to look at why you use something you think is so negative, shows a real destructive personality.

Brings me to a story (yep the old man sits back) in Morocco back in 70-71 as they turned from legal to illegal kif. I had been there quite some time, always trying to find a place to live where I was free to smoke and get on with my life, and never noticed the posters as anything evil. They looked like Greatful Dead posters, with a skull and smoking. Then one day I got up and went to my beachfront cafe to have my coffee and morning pipe, and the waiter told me not to smoke.
I asked why? He told me it was illegal. I laughed, "no its not." He said it was. I asked if it was some holiday or something? He said no, it was now illegal and showed me the great posters I had seen around. Translating he told me it said. "Kif destroys the mind and the body." It went on to say it caused cancer. The poster was right. Kif was mixed 50/50 with black tobacco and of course, it causes cancer.
Vaporizer, that is the only call to the future.

Well, you are a wealth of knowledge on many health related information, Jack should round you out and maybe point out some more. Amazing his book is free online and shows he cares to get the information out. The Jack Herer breed of plant, named after him, is one of the tallest strongest of the breeds. I have not seen a bigger stronger yielding plant, and that is why they named it Jack Herer.
I got to meet him at the 16th Cannabis Cup, where they honored his lifetime of work. He was very ill then. Only cannabis kept his pain and disease in check this long. I am writing a book and told my editor that I demand people read his book as pre-requisite to mine. I dont want to cover what he did so well already. I make constant reference to it. Jack stopped at the cannabis level and I take a closer look at how such a conspiracy can and does happen.
Read a chapter a day online and you will really learn a lot and have a great reference. All his work is documented with links to the documentation.

Nope, never had to brag, have to hold back so it does not get so obscene eveyone will freak out.
I am more serious than you can ever imagine. So go take care of that problem. I am very serious, you are taking a substance you believe to be dangerous and that shows a very screwed up personality. Go get some help brother. For you, this is a problem.
As far as me, you would not be the only one who cannot believe anyone can do whatever they please in life. However, my reality exists and many live vicariously through me because their own mundane existance and everyday life sucks so bad they think there is no doorway out. They are rich, they are poor, but they are stuck and I am not. I have never done a thing anyone else cannot do, they just never did it. So there is no bragging, only eludication.

Thanks for the comment, Art. That's my only-uncle's name.
My smile quickly turned itself around, when you said that he was sick. Cannabis not only keeps things in check, but it can make you grow, as a person. In fact, it helped me back into reality when I slipped out, 11 years ago, on October 22. I want to learn more of him as a person before I check out his work, because I'm kind of concerned with that. I think I saw him on a site for "The Emporers New Clothes" or whatever, did he write that? I never read that, either.

I don't hang out with any stoners. They can't drive to my apartment, anyway. Of course, I haven't met many, here. I am alone, in a world overgrowing with Cannibus plants, spending all my money to keep my eyes focused and my lungs cleared.

Yeah, that is sort of the title to the book. He has spent his life as an activist. His book is on sale at Amazon and other sellers, but he has it online for free. That is the kind of man he is. If he is an uncle, stand tall my friend.
While I now claim to be very active, I had 20 years where my activities were underground and known only to a select few. It was Lyndon Puch editor from CCnewz.com in England that got me back in public again. I was happy to be a cave dwelling, hippie trail farmer of cannabis. Now I want to share the knowledge and awareness. I have everything I ever wanted, now I just learn and share.
Should I change my handle to
"fraud & liar" to make the seedboy happy? Names dont hurt me, cause I know who I am and from whense I came.

No, Art is my uncle. But now, I'm not sure because you're Art, and I thought you directed the 'stand-tall' comment for Jack Herer. I, actually, have that saved on my 'favorites' list. I'm so interested in learning, that I haven't read that because it's not current. I didn't think so, anyways. But, I've mostly researched what pot does to your body, and why the hell I can smoke crack without any effect, but marijuana is like a saviour of mine.

This is a problem, and I urge you to get some help. This is not normal, it is abby normal. It happens, but it is not normal. Something else is wrong if this is normal to you. Not everyone has the same physiology my friend, and each will react differently. I repeat, if this is how you get when you smoke, you should get some help, find out why, quit, something is not working for you.
Would millions of tokers smoke daily if their hearts ran rampant each time? Would they claim they cant move from a couch cause their heart rate was so high? Sounds reasonable to you? Repeat; get some attention to your problem.

Seedbare, you are blowing your cover! See your keeper.
Do you have anything to actually say? Other than smoking makes your heart run like a jack rabbit, or smoking for 2 weeks will cause your lungs to get congested or some other wierd "fact" from Anslingers book of yellow "facts."
Go do your homework, you are out of your league here.
I sing a song of freedom, your is of something else. I praise the knowledge, you spread the myth. You call me a rookie drug cop, and I see you need some help. If I was a rookie drug cop, everyone would have a vaporier with weed in it and the only thing I would enforce is the smoke two joints before you smoke two joint rule. Some drug cop I would make. You must give it up seedbare. This is doing you no good. You should not be smoking. Your heart is too sensitive and your lungs cannot take it. You would be so much better off without. Why do you continue to use such a destructive tool in your life? Just mark it up to your own physical inadequacies in adapting to it. When I sit here reading your stuff, I can only wonder why you use it when you feel so strongly that it is so bad? Why? Why would you be here, smoking and talking with tokers, and your heart is running like a jackrabbit and your lungs are filled with shit, yet here you are.

That bit about the fast heartbeat wasn't total bullshit. I sometimes get a noticeably faster heartbeat when i toke, and I've always read that this is a normal effect of smokin' the ganj.
http://www.maps.org/mmj/abrams2.shtml
Plasma drug levels and heart rate peak within 15 minutes of an inhaled dose and rapidly decline. Oral THC increases heart rate to a lesser extent than smoked marijuana with a peak occurring two to three hours after ingestion (Chait 1992). Heart rate remained elevated four hours after ingestion.
