Exhaling trick

So, you know when you take those hard hits and you know as soon as you exhale your gonna be coughing like a bitch. Well I discovered the other night that if you exhale like this:
Blow Stop Blow Stop Blow Stop Blow

Instead of one long exhale it makes you feel better. Maybe it's just me but some of you weak lungs should try it. :)

wow, i was just trying to solve that problem, i always just exhaled as quickly as i could and then shut my mouth and throat, but ill try the blow stop method, thnx

If you exhale through your nose, you won't cough as bad, if at all. Also, when you start coughing, breath through your nose.

And I don't want any warning of Nasal Cancer, thanks, anyways.

i always keep a bottle of water on me. cold as possible. i take a drink before, and a drink right after i exhale. it coats and numbs the throat a bit. i can take massive rips, hold them for a good 10-15 seconds and exhale with no problem.

Good tip with the water.

When I exhale, I always try to blow smoke rings. It's cool to do, and it also makes you exhale at a good rate.

um......what about the hits where you know as soonas you finish the hit you're about to cough it all out becasue you took way more than what you could handle (happens to people very often when i prepare a GB hit, or someone hits my steam roller)

yea steamrollers are the shit and i always take too big of a hit when im smoking from 1

mines about 2 1/2 feet long, and about 2 inches in diameter, fitted with a liberty bell bowl. i don't care how big your lungs are, how big of a pothead you are.... this thing is unclearable unless of course you punk out and don't fill it up all the way. many have tried to clear it, all have failed to do so, and some (including myself) have puked from trying, not from being so high...i can't really explain it...but i had 'instapuke' when i tried to clear it... the smoke went in and i didn't cough or nothing as soon as i took my lips away from it i just puked it was weird.

it's nothin really special to look at, incase you don't know what a steam roller is, basic idea a large pipe (usually metal) open at both ends and a bowl stuck on the 'side' near one of the ends. you then stick the end furthest away from the bowl, cover the other end with your hand, light the bowl and start sucking....fill it up, when you start feeling the smoke in your lungs (means the smoke has worked it's way from the end near the bowl to your mouth) and let it go and breathe deep. it's more of an experience type thing, because like i said, all it is, is a metal tube with a bowl. but if ya really wanna see i'll take a pic and post it.... but wont' be for a couple of days thanks to massive spyware/adware and whatever else -.- doing a complete reformat....usually takes a couple of days to get the pc running right again.

That never works for me, the only thing that I can possibly do to not cough is just exhale slowly but completely then take a huge breath of some fresh (cool) air. Then just supress the rest of the cough.

dude, thats why pc's suck ass and you should buy a mac. can't get a virus, no spyware/adware, nothing and they NEVER break down plus everything is fully compatible and cross platform with pc's now so there are no worries.

My old housemate made what you call a "steamroller" a few months back. Have you ever seen those paintball peashooters? Its essentially a long metal tube that detatches to two short metal tubes for storage. We sat around the house (stoned off our tits) trying to work out how we could make this into a smoker aid. We even drew up blueprint and hit! haha. Ill try to explain how it worked.

essentially, the metal tube is open at one end for it to go in your face. The other end has a rubber stopper with 4 holes in it. In each hole we put a see through plastic tube that comes right back along the tube towards you and turns and goes back again to the far end. At the end of each tube there is a rubber stopper with a hole to work as a shotty hole (I dunno what the term is for that, but you know what i mean. It has the same purpose as the hole on a bong) and another hole to put a spliff in. So basically, its a 2 man job. One person lights the 4 joints and covers the 4 shotty holes. The other just tokes it and pulls all the smoke through the 4 spliffs, right down and back up the seethrough tubes and into the metal tubes. When the toker gives the signal that the things full, the other bloke lets go of all the shotty holes and the toker takes it all like a kick in the head!

Its quality.. gets you well mashed!

And for the record.. Coughing does make the high more potent as all the blood rushes to your head. If you want to stop coughing, theres one surefire way... Practise!

it'd be a cold day in hell before i'd get a mac...besides i get problems with my computer becasue of my own laziness. until i get another ram chip for this i have to judge what i can use at a time (or it's slow and i hate slow computers) so i have to shut down my firewall, and my virus protection to make sure that i have the ram to run my games (gunbound and ffxi mainly)
