inspired by mellowmoods thread, just thought I'd post this up here.

anywhoo, I've learned a good deal over the years about fixing malware, internet connection problems, and a little about repairing disk problems. I hear a lot of people posting computer problems, particularily about malware (my specialty), so rather than hear tidbits about this and that program to fix some of the problem, anybody can feel free to e-mail me and I'll happily help you completely fix the problem. I know the pain of malware all too well, which is why I studied a lot for the past couple years so I'd know how to deal with it.

p.s. if any mods want to sticky the thread, I can post links to all the best free anti-malware programs and scans as well, plus tell you which phony ones to avoid. and please, before you download an anti-malware freeware utility, check it out first! most out there are spyware programs themselves and can really imbed themselves deep in your system. IE www. slimshield . com (broke the link) is the worst one I've come accross yet. DO NOT go there, even visiting the site will have their crap downloaded quietly into your system.

Ewido will not conflict with norton, and frankly I'm surprised how few people know of it considering it's one of, if not the best anti-virus programs going. especially because it gets a lot of other crap too.
