growing on trays

hi, i'm an experienced grow(4 yrs) growing in aqua farms . just gone on to ntf on tray s ,2 tray to 1 water res. i have a good large grow room with 8 sets of tray with 10 jakera plants per tray. all cuts from same place nutriant same as well but 4 trays plants quite small 4 tays plants large full of bud etc. cannot understand why . any ideas ????????????

Are there any flow problems with the tray?
Is one backing up and holding nutrients?
Have you measured the run off water to check it for problems?

no run off problems , brand new trays set at right levels. will CF run off water

He as asking why one set of plants is larger then the other i think.

It could be anything.

I would look more at common and uncommon elements. Your nutrients feed them both so that can't be it. The light is the same so that can't be it. What about air flow? The only difference I can tell from your post is the trays.

There are many different root problems that in NFT tray's spread quickly and easily from one root to the other roots.

Do the roots smell?
