This am I rotated the girls and they looked great. After I noticed some nutesolute on the floor, I thought it was just a splish/splash when I moved the tubs around...happened before...anyway, when I got up today, checked on the girls and saw an entirely different puddle! :( well, i grabbed that tub and it was empty! I could hear the 2 12" wands going phhzzzz...one of the airlines had come loose and I hadn't noticed, it siphoned the whole res through the airline right onto the floor, can you believe it...so, still half blind from the sandman, I rushed into the veg room and mixed a fresh batch of nutes...What a nightmare, Oh well...Everything is alright, I think.
Thought you might enjoy the story.later.peace

You can get a water alarm from HD. Most of them have it around the water heaters or plumbing area. They sound an alarm if there is a leak, I know how well they work from experience.

Everyone who grows hydro should use them for safety sake.

Using that alarm if you were to sprout a leak at 3:00 am, wouldnt your neighbors call the cops if the alarm was too loud? Or is this a quiet alarm and just enough to wake you.

I can totally relate Latewood, I have had two similar episodes both when I was in the area to catch them . but when you have a 50 gallon drum sitting on another 50 gallon drum it doesn't take long to have a major flood, lmao. my hallway on the other side of one of the walls carpet was wet for a week .once the hose just came out but for those who aren't familiar with the siphoning capabilities of water may like to know this ..... If you use a pump to pump water when you shut it off it is possible for the water to come right back the opposite way you pumped it right through your pump.

The alarm does not travel like that, It's battery operated so It's loud up close but not like wake the next door neighbor if you live in a house. You can wire it to other things like light bulbs, auto pagers, ect. By using relays and some general knowledge of electronics. It's not a car or house alarm just a buzzer of sorts.
