Heat and How Often to Water

I live in So California where the temp has been 90+ degrees everyday. I know a common error nubies make is to overwater. If I try to go more than 2 days without watering my plants really droop and I dont want to stress them out anymore than the heat is probably doing. So its been like every other day that I water and they seem to be doing ok. Anyone else have the same concern?

water them as they need it. i live in the south too and must water every 2-3 days if it doesn't rain......some times every day during a drought in mis summer. as long as the soil is dry water them. however if you add ferts to your water remember to give them a break once and a while, so not to overfertilize.

Thanks for the info on watering. I'm using Foxfarm nutes and I've been feeding them every 7-10 days. So far they seem to enjoy this routine.

I live in Bako. California and it's been hot and dry...humidity is about 25%!!!So I have to water 1 - 3 times a day depending on the heat(I'm talkin' 100+ degrees)I wait till the soil is dry on the top and the leaves start to not stand up as much(not drooping...it's a very sutle differance,you really have to know your plants.
There in pots too so they need more water do to the hot dry weather..,.it should cool off soon,the temp is an average of 90 degrees and only gets hot for about 5 hours and cools off to 70-80 at night.Rule of thumb if the soil is dry on top(top 1-3 inches)it needs water.

Just east of the San Fernando Valley. yeah its been pretty warm but hopefully it'll cool down soon.

dont worry about overwattering bro! If the temp is over 90 degrees id watter every day

i live in the north west and the temp aint that bad usually around 80, and i wattered everyday and the plants seemed to like it

p.s. are they planted in the ground or in buckets

Theyre in pots. So far watering every other day is going good until the weather cools down, then I'll ease up.
I'm growing Doc Chronic's MP5K. Sorry I dont have any pics. Maybe next year I'll get a camera.

Watering once a day is enough?
Doesn't your plant wilt?
Mine would...if I don't water twice a day.
But we're talkin 103 -105 latly and 20% humidity!
How bought your temp. 4finger.
