Did anyone watch that last night? About the Cape Flats in South Africa, the 2 main rival gangs, The Americans and The (someone elses, strange name).
There are 30 murders every month there (that's a new dead gang member every day :eek: ) and the gangs pay the police to not get involved..
One story someone was talking about was someone from one of the gangs getting chased by 3 rival gang members, he ran over to a cop car with 2 cops inside to get help and all they did is lock the doors (so the rival gang wouldn't kill them). The guy had nowhere to run so he hid on the other side of the cop car. The 3 rival gang members walked over to him, shot him in the head and walked off, with the police doing nothing.
If a member of The Americans was found to have talked to the police he would get his throat cut, quite high up just under his chin, and his tongue pulled out of the hole, and left of the floor to die.. it sounded like a horrible, tortureous death and it appeared they held the persons head up so he couldn't move and cut it slowly.
Also the other gang had a member that had fucked about with someone's sister so the leader smashed a beer bottle over his head (the thing i hate is the way people let others fuck them up, as the guy hit him over the head and the bottle didn't break, so the guy was on the floor letting the leader do it to him, otherwise he would be killed) and i think the leader of the gang said he would kill him soon :eek:

Think council estates are rough now?

Also the gangs control the whole of the Cape Flats, and as soon as a child is born he is trained to be a member, so has no chance at life.

The cops get paid enough and are scared of the gangs so much that they give them guns and bullets and anything they need, just so they don't get killed.. sounds like a shitty place to live

well wat can u expect after years of apartied and being oppressed by the dutch wat can u expect they finnaly get their freedom and they squander it by murdering eachother. ITs just like wat happened here in america after the civil right movement of the 50's and 60's.

Oh ok, if that means you can watch English tv, then it was on Channel 5 at 12am Wednesday, not sure if it's on every week, i'll check tomorrow when we get the newspaper with tv listings, or i'll look on Sky Tv Guide.. I'll get back to you on that:D

Just watched another Worlds Deadliest Gangs that i recorded last night, from Bravo, about LA The Bloods and The Crips. It was pretty good, told how Tupac and Biggie died (i didn't know before, and frankly didn't care, but now i know lol:))

The Dutch had nothing to do with it. Black South Africans were oppressed by Afrikaaners, who are descended from the dutch, but became distinct, much the same way Americans are different from the Britsh.

But yeah, crime and AIDS are a HUGE problem in South Africa. It's a sad and difficult place to live in.

And City of God is a great movie!

unrelated here, but my friend's boss got kidnapped by 3 Mexicans who he did not pay for some work, and they cut off 3 fingers, and put him in a burning barrel and left him for dead. Somehow he got out, and he has horrible burns on his face.

a 17 year old kid in detroit got shot in the chest and the ambulance came...the medics got him up on a stretcher and were getting ready to put him in the ambulance when i masked man walked up with a shotgun, told the medics to stand aside and shot the kid in the face from 2 feet away..and then walked away and they still havent found him...

i have to live in this fucking city! 10 years ago there were 2 million people in Detroit and since then crime has drove out over half...900,000 now live in detroit..i have paranoid dreams were someone is trying to brake into my house..some sketch shit happens around here...like up the road form my house, a man was on his way to work at 5 in the morning and stoped to get gas, when two kids(17,19) held him at gun point and took his truck..as if thats not bad enough they drive off, he goes into the store and calls the police and the two kids come back 5 minutes later and gun him down..not to mention mad people have been getting tied up in their houses and robbed latley, aorund the area i live wich is a safer area...i could go on and on about the fucked up shit i hear on the news...
