My parents are in the Mid-50s as i am almost 30, but my dad is a hardcore biker, parties, been to prison, blah, blah.. my mom on the other hand would shit a brick if she seen me with weed or actually smoke in front of her... shed fall over witha coranary....

I don't smoke with my parents. I know that they used to smoke but they told me that they quit (I don't know if I believe that). But even if they still did I don't think I would enjoy smoking with them.

when i started smoking cannabis i told them i was gonna do it. my dad was like: 'let me see it to make sure its good stuff'. my mum on the other hand was like: 'it causes brain damage!'.

i only once smoked with my dad, it was in the back garden.

i'm really persuasive, so now my parents (even my mum!) are encouraging me to grow for personal use because they know that the only people who sell near me are dodgy people.

The first time I smoked with my dad was 3 years ago in October. My mom and dad were hippies in the 70's, grew the good stuff, lived those years of mexican sativa and thai sticks. It was my dads 50th birthday is when I got high with him the first time. I was telling my mom that I should give him a joint for his 50th, as a joke. She said he would love that. So after some drinks and the company left, I sat down beside him, took out the joint and said, "how bout it?". He said light it up. Ever since then I smoke on occasion with him and he "tries" to give me growing tips from the 70's. I grow better stuff than you! I tell him.

used to smoke with my step dad before he passed away ...my mom still smokes once in a while [ rarley] but if her arthritas acts up she'll take a hit or 2 ...i'l deff. smoke with my kids when they reach the right age but that's about 2-4 yrs off in the future depending on how they keep up thier grades ..and weather they want to ..cant remember the first time it was in the late 70s and most of that decade is just a blur now

i couldn't vote. my parents know i smoke marijuana, but dont do it themselves. my moms seems to be getting more interested in blowing down every day. i can see it in her eyes, despite what she might say.

i'm fortunate to have parents who are lenient about smoking, otherwise i probably wouldn't be doing it....well....i'm just glad i'm not faced with that decision of having to lie to them about not smoking.

Hmm. I leave my bong on the bookshelf in my room, so I've always had an extremely open relationship with my parents about my smoking. My parents never took any drugs, but they really don't mind because I keep my grades up. As far as smoking with them, I think it would be hysterical to see my father get high; although, knowing him as I do, he never would.

I never smoked with my parents but I've smoked in front of my dad he doesn't really care, he just doesn't smoke.

My mom knows I smoke but she doesn't really care we talk about it openly as long as I don't get back into other drugs like meth She is okay with it, and as long as I'm calm, and don't smoke it everyday.

My stepdad knows I smoke weed, he rolled me a joint before but he doesn't smoke he was just drunk and bored, he was going to smoke but he decided not to because he works for the state and they random drugtest.

I've smoked with my brother, the first time I got high was with my sister before I left Illinois to leave to Arizona the first time when I was 9, I don't think I inhaled though, but meh whatever.

My cousin JOey is the one that I really started smoking with when I was about 10 and then around 12 we stopped smoking until I got off probation, then it's been whatever since then.

I know my mom smokes, and I think she knows I do. I don't really even try to hide the smell or anything anymore. She has already said, "Try it with me" as soon as I turn 18. I guess in her eyes I can atleast be smoking at a legal age or something. I was taken by surprise when she said it at first so I didn't ask any questions, which may have looked kind of dumb...

Shit, my dad on the other hand...I have to act like I don't even know anything about it except that it is a horrible ''hard'' drug. I remember once I flew over to see him for a couple days during school holidays. Some ad came on the television about it, and I commented on it being biased. He went fucking crazy giving me some long speech on it.

Well it is close to sunrise, so I'm going to sleep...taken me like 20 minutes to type this thing out.

My mom was encouragimg me to smoke weed instead of drinking when i started drinking at 14. She didn't really care waht i do only rules i had to follow was "good grades, you can be a criminal but don't get caught, and dont be knocked up". I get high with her and my cousin all the time. i get high with my aunt and uncles too! I never go to get high with me dad he died before I even started but he started smoking in 8th grade so I probably woulda! I get high with my 5 different friends parents to! Everyone I know gets high! Weirdest high is my mom meeting my friends mom and whipping out and joint and them smokin with me and my friend! so i have this half-sister who lives in cali who i never used to talk to but we recently started talking over the phone and stuff.. she said that my dad used to smoke a lotttt and he got his exwife to try it. my dad knows my half-sister's got a cannabis club card and everything for medicinal reasons, and he doesn't mind much about her smoking.

me on the other hand.. hes seen pics on my camera before but never of me so he didn't assume that i was doin it too.. haha.. he probably doesn't care cos my sister does it, and he used to do it, and i've always had good grades and have never been busted...

Well, I know my parents have done it before, and I know they used to do it all the time when they were around my age. I also know my mom still does it occasionally (maybe once a year when she's with friends). She told me she didn't care if I did it, just as long as I did it in a responsible manner as well as not doing it often and didn't do it in our house (although what she doesn't know won't hurt her.. lol). I've openly told her before that I've done it once or twice, even though it's more like daily, lol. My dad, on the other hand, must have smoked some bad shit once in his younger days.. he claimed it was laced and it freaked him out so bad that he never trusted doing it again. I know my dad would flat out murder me if he knew I did it.

I openly talk to them all the time however about the research I've done on cannabis and even directed them to a few studies when they don't believe me. Sometimes my mom gets suspicious since I know a good bit about the health effects of cannabis, but since I know a good bit about other drugs as well that I wouldn't dare try (and sometimes I will discuss other drugs as well), she seems to buy it. Also, my GPA in college right now is a 3.66, so they don't seem to suspect me much at all (their mindset is that any drug will ruin your life and cause grades and motivation and everything like that to be low.. my GPA didn't get that good until I started smoking anyway, how ironic lol).
