Hi, I have a lot of spare glass pieces for decoration that would be perfect for a bong so would it be possible to like buy a glass drill bit for a DeWalt? Also, what other options could there be rather than buying a glass bowl for it.

ive always wondered if you went to a pottery store if you could make a bong. that'd be cool to have one you made yourself glass blown... probably cheaper too

i'd use a regular drill.. go extra slow n very careful... i'm gonna make one out of a beer bottle..

keep a steady flow of water on hand, not like drenching it, but keep it well wet and cover it in masking tape before hand about 2 or 3 layers, with some time and patients you'll have a perfectly cut hole, and there are special drill bits to buy that make it easier and more succesful....a set of them in about 5 sizes at walmart is about 12 bucks.

the dremel tools have a diamond tipped tile cutting bit aval. that works pretty good ive used to make old coke bottles in to bongs and mini hooka's but if you dont have a dremel.. home depot [ at least here] carries glass drilling bits.. but i would see no reason why you couldnt use the dremel bit in a regular drill.. it will drill a hole pretty quick and will allow you to widen the hole out just like you would use a regular wood bit to ream it out a little bit more. just rember to wear a good heavy pair of work gloves while drilling if the glass cracks it can cut the hell out of your hand
