I got me a nice little pipe the other day and was just wondering, should i grind up the weed or put in a whole bud?

no DO NOT grind it up....if you grind it up you're gonna cash half the bowl in one hit...granted it may be a stronger hit, but it is still extremely wasteful.....but you don't stick a whole bud in there either.....there should be about maybe 5 or 6 diffrent lil buds in the bowl.....for me that's the optimal bowl.....nice even hits and it lasts for a good while....15 hits max....

I pack big ..... :D :) I can smoke a bowl for 10 minutes, but I toke slow lol. Nice and easy, just one flic of the bic and if you toke 'er right it won't require no more.

i break up my buds with my fingers. i only use my grinders if i'm gonna roll a blunt or making browines. but i do like to pack bongs with one pretty good sized nugg at the bottom and then on top of that the more broken up bud. its all preference.

Unless if you have a huge-ass bowl, you don't really want to just stick the nug in there and light up. Air will go around the nug and into the hole, so you'll have to toke harder to get smoke. I would just suggest taking your nug in your thumb and forefinger, and break it up with your other hand, just packing little pieces of the bud into your bowl, making sure to fit them in so it's nice and tight. A properly packed bowl will stay lit for the whole session.
