I've never actually seen a picture of a steamroller, even though my friends talk about them a whole lot. Can anyone get me a picture of one, either real or done on paint is fine with me.

a steam roller is a good way to smoke, gets you bigger hits because it allows more air flow, all it is is a tube, if homemade, usually out of a paper towel tube or toilet paper tube, if bought, out of glass, and it has a bowel on top for the weed and you put one end to your mouth and cover the other end with your hand just like a carb on a bowel.

Yep. Just a tube. You don't need a picture. Think of a piece of PVC pipe about a foot long (300mm ?) with open ends, and either a hole in the side for a joint, or an actual bowl going into the side.

Because it's ghettolicious, simple, and gets you alot of smoke in a hit without filtering it. Meaning you're more likely to cough. So, if there's any truth in the coughing gets you higher thing, then there's another reason. ;)
