So here's my setup:
Basement closet, no natural light, no real ventilation.
2-150w (not equivalent) white CFL lamps about 1 foot overhead. 1- 75w LED light
Watering about every 2 days
When it's nice outside ill take the plants out and let them sunbath the whole day
Lights are on a 18 hour timer.
As if now the plants are about 3 weeks old.
I'm just really trying to maintain a personal supply, all from my basement. I know that my setup isn't ideal, but it's the best (safest) route I have.
Question: is it harming the plants to alternate sunlight and CFL lamp light? Do I need to add colored lights to the mix?
I've looked into getting a HPS light but not sure how to saftley set that up. Anyypointers? Thanks all !!
