Greetings from NW Louisiana. I was messing around in my first garden and i planted some seeds i had for awhile
Well--- 2 plants came up and their growing like weeds, the tallest one is about 2 1/2+ feet, smells wonderful with a stout stem, Thing is I can't tell if it's "female" or what, and i could use some help with trimming advice and such. The smaller plant really doesn't have any smell and it doesn't look as stout as the taller one. I will include pics of them, any advice would be greatly appreciated. So far the only thing that I have been doing to them is pinching of the sucker leaves. The cages are 18in tall and 12in wide. Thanks for any help.292298292299292300292301

there are no sucker leaves on pot. leave all them leaves on. What is with the cages? Deer problems? Looks like the plant is kind of constricted. Otherwise, looking very GOOD!

Yea was afraid of deer and hogs(thier everywhere), will leave cages off and not nip the "sucker" leaves. Thanks.

Might make cages slightly bigger, and like tomato cages have big holes. Leave the leaves.
