Getting ready to harvest.. should I pull up the whole Plant?

I'm noticing new branches towords the bottom that are flowering and im wondering since the top of the plant looks as if its finished flowering should i just snip the top of the plant and leave the bottom to finish flowering? or what should i do. any help would be greatly appreciated

sure, that sounds like a good thing to do.

Yes, there is nothing wrong with incrementally harvesting a plant. I do it all the time, take the tops that are ready and let the rest go until I want to take the rest. I usually re-veg at least once, (to take advantage of an already developed root system) so I always leave a little ball of green stuff for the reveggin.
