Hi guys.
I've been looking around at some folks who are vegging their plants with HPS and getting great results. The internodes on these plants appear to be right on top of each other. I saw a guy with a 150 watt HPS that was like this. I have been using a 400 W enhanced Hortilux MH for veg and internodes are pretty far apart...like inches!

Anyone with experience vegging with HPS, Please chime in!

Anyone who may have compared the two in the veg cycle, please direct me to your page!!!!!

Thanks, can't wait to hear the news from y'all! :smokin:

The color of sodium might have an effect that reduces the verticle growth. Some people say sodium should be used as it mimics the sun of fall season more than MH. Some people say there isn't much difference. I'd go with sodium and maybe mix in some flouro as it's cheap, cool white light that works.

My buddy's niece is doing a science project growing plants under different color light bulbs. The red bulb is kicking ass very clearly. Go figure.
