I've began the flowering stage for my 5 babies. Currently I'm using 14 cfls, all 27 Kelvins. I was wondering about the ratio of 27k's to 65k's. I've researched and found out that 3:1 seems to be the golden ratio for flowering and even vegging. The blue spectrum would make fluffier buds it seems, and red tighter buds. So I guess the golden ratio would make them just right lol.

So should I replace 4 of the cfls with 65k, or just leave them all at 27k?

I've researched more about this topic. Found some interesting information to share -

Should i use red and blue? (http://www.rollitup.org/cfl-fluorescent-lighting/489144-cfls-flowering-should-i-use.html)

Why use some 65k's when in flowering stage? (http://www.rollitup.org/general-marijuana-growing/275469-why-use-some-65ks-when.html)

The spectrum mix for flowering is actually recommended for minimizing stretching, and more quality buds. So I've just switched 3 of the 65k's to 27k's. I wish I had done it at the start, they've stretched quite a bit now, oh well. :greenthumb:
