Buying seeds from Amsterdam

Ok--I have decided to grow my own. I was given some seeds from my local producer--but have been reading about the new auto flowering strains. I would like to buy some of these seeds. But--can I ? I have my PPL card. Is it legal for me to order these and have them shipped here?

i dunno the law there but here in ireland yar allowed to own and buy seeds from headshops/online loong as you dnt plant them =) ehheee i had magic mushroom kit with seeds,prob round 100different seeds what i collected ova the years and plenty of more stuff in da house when i got raided while ago...and all the bricks were able da charge me was less thn gram of weed and 4joints of hash... but hey different countrys ,different laws.=)

In the states, it's illegal to import cannabis seeds.

That falls under federal law rather than state law - and according to the feds, just about everything concerning marijuana is illegal.

That being said, most of the time, the seeds pass right through customs if they're packaged "discreetly".

We are no longer shipping to the US, but you can find some reputable dealers who will on this site if you check the links.
Make sure you pick one that guarantees your seeds will arrive - meaning they will replace them for free if customs gets their hands on them or they go missing for any other reason.

Be careful when picking your autos. Some have very low power ratings & very low yields.

Hello Pinkcar, It is not legal to ship seeds in the United States... but everyone does anyway. I have several friends who have ordered and received seeds from The Attitude" & "Gypsy's Seed Boutique"... and have been very pleased with their purchases. There are several that advertise in "High Times" magazine as well.
Several of them are offering the auto flower strains. I have not tried any, but from the research I have done so far, they seem to be lower in THC.

There is also another forum website that has THCBay similar to eBay with a lot of buy it now listings. Have used them and although the shipping was expensive and you have to send cash....I purchased for the first time and received everything I ordered. Takes about 7-10 business days after they receive your cash. With USPS international express mail you can track your money. It is risky, but so is everything with cannabis in the US.

I have tried auto-flowering plants and didn't like them. If you have limited space, they will work. They don't get very big. At least mine didn't and yield was very low. Good luck!
