How tall does a plant need to be before you can harvest it? I'm new to this.

Height really doesn't have anything to do with harvest time unless you are running out of room. Harvest time is dependent on the desired ripeness of your plant's fruit. There are quite a few threads here on best harvest times in comparison to the effects of the medicine.
