I know there are tons of variables, but what is a ballpark figure regarding how many seeds I should grow (in a closet) if I smoke about 1/2 oz per month?

well.... it depends on how big your seeds are. If you have really big seeds and a tiny little closet, I would say no more than one. But... if you have a huge closet and little itsy bitsy seeds... maybe hundreds. I guess ultimately it will depend on seed size to grower ratio... sometimes it gets quite intimidating.

And then after all those seeds grow, and you let them veg a long time, why just one plant could supply you with 5 pounds....but that is a big, big plant.

We are kinda joshing you. Those kind of questions are difficult to answer. Not only that, when you have a full time supply, you use will increase.

So, if you grow a little plant you could get an oz off of it, if you grow a big plant you could get pounds. Up to the gardener to decide. Kinda duck soup with chickens and geese.

That was hilarious...luckily, I turned away from my 'puter to spew my coffee on the floor when I read that one, but some still went up my nose tho....gross!...NGC, what you might want to ck out is a perpetual grow...there's info here, just run a search...say ya want a half oz/month...or since your new, two or 3, maybe 4 plants, but since they are from seeds, you'll need to start 6 minimum, and 8 to be safe...some will be male...veg em for a month, while you pop 8 more...put first 8 into flower, pull the males, continue flowering the females, then a month later do the same and just keep it going over and over. Eventually you can get a mom going and clone to speed up the process and not have to worry about males....you'll always have your stash and maybe a little extra each month this way. Hope this helps!
