Hi ppl, this is my first post and as-well my first time growing Marijuana. So i've been looking up the most Information about indoor growing as i can' and i feel "Kinda" confident about starting my grow but then again im not sure (well i atleast hope all goes well) but thats why im here. The space im going to make my grow room is my closet and its very small' (with-out exact measurement) i'd say it's about 6 X 6' i no its small, but i have no choice really because i have a wife if u no what i mean. :mad:lol. However i think im just about ready to go i juts cant find a SOIL with the pH about 6.5 or 7.5, so could some one please help me by just telling me a good name brand Soil to use that i can find in a store near me, if it matters what kinda plant im groing well i have ordered online 10 "Northern Light" seeds and they will be my first grow cause i herd they where good for beginers :)

Bye the way, Must the soil contain "Humus" in it? and i also heard that Eco-Grow is the bes Fertilizer for Marijuana plants is this true ?

Thx for your time ppl and any and eveyones help will be much appreciated :)

quality potting soil i have tested has always been 6.5-7 and some have it listed near the 'ingrediants' section on the bag. humus is just rotted forest products and too much is not good. cannabis likes a sandy-loamy soil with good drainage...iow, it hates sitting in wet ground constantly and must have good drainage to thrive. i use the best potting soil available and blend with cactus potting soil plus a little perlite...

it's just as important to check your water ph too...if not moreso.

GO to your local greenhouse / plant stand. Do not go to Home Depot or Lowes...go to a real nursery.

Most nurseries start their pants in the perfect medium....just ask what they use.

I found a nursery that uses PRO MIX...so far so good.

Real light, airy and spongy.

PH 6.5

Any nursery that grows their own plants have something that will work.

Good luck!

Don't forget the Perlite you sould not grow in dirt without it.
