About how long should I leave the plants in veg state before putting them under 12/12? And when a site says a strain takes 7-8 weeks does that mean the time it takes to bud from when u start the 12/12? Or does it mean the time it takes from when you first plant it?

i always wait until at least the plants show maturity by alternating branches in full growth along with preflowers for sexing. usually i give em another 3-4 weeks in veg after the f's have showed using 1 gal pots for the early stages (planting a seed thru preflowers) then the f's go into 5 gal pots or are put into the ground...iow, they're mature and showing sex. alternating branching is my guide for that timing...

and yes...the flowering time given in breeder info is from start of 12/12...but i usually have to add a week or two for actual harvest time.

depends how big you want your plant.

when u start to flower your plant is grow the half height of what it is actually. so if your plant is 3 foot its gonna get 4.5 foot

If u have a 1000W bulb or more on ur plant, then it'l be done in 7 weeks from 1st day at 12/12.
