covering up the smell

one of my favorite things is to smoke in my room. its just so peaceful and i get a good high. i've done it many times and gotten away with it. but on 420, my mom suddenly woke up cause of the smell of axe. happened again a few nights later(i smoked once in between the incidents and got away with it). now i dont know why it isnt suddenly working, but i wanted to know if there is anythign else that kills the smell but doesnt leave such a strong scent behind.

Get one of those fans you can mount in your window, and set it on exhaust. Then just blow all your hits into the fan. The smoke that isn't immediately swept out the window isn't going to travel out your door anyways because of the direction of air flow the fan causes.

They make those odor neutrelizer cones that are made of that gooey gel stuff. You just pull the cover of the cone up and sit in on a dresser or table. It seems to work well but it takes a while to really take affect. Its not something that will cover it up really quickly.

Yeah parents aren't stupid. The second they smell a shit load of aresol spray like Axe or something and your not leaving for a hot date it sets off alarms in their head saying "What is he covering up with the spray?"

I suggest you open your window and buy a box fan and sit the box fan in the windown BLOWING OUT and turn it on and smoke near it. The fan will create a suction that will suck all the smoke out of the window. But if your room is on the same floor as your moms this may not work as the fan would create some noise.

not only is my room on the same floor as my mom's, but i have a small room, and the window directly faces my door, which directly faces my mom's room, so the fan isnt a good idea. i also have a screen on my window.

Well sneak outside and smoke then. If your mom is right next door to you I don't think there is much you can do to cover the smell.

Just sneak outside and toke, just don't make too much racket comming back inside or she will wake up.

I would just take one hitters out of my bong and try to blow them out the window with as little smoke as possible. Then i would just buy some ozium like ODB said, which i really have only seen at my local headshop, and also get some regular unscented air freshers like febreeze to spray on your rug and shit. Be careful cuz moms usually know more than you think.

my parents room is right beside mine... i havent been caught from the smell that much... i use fabreeze, and a small ammount of axe.. i usually get caught from carelessly leaving paraphenalia places when im high.

take a the brown tube from an empty toiler paper roll, and fill it with fabric softner sheets. Blow your hits through it. My mom never caught me, but now when we talk as freinds she knew I was getting high the whole time, but I'll ask her today if she could smell it. ridethefire how long does the smell stick in ur closet? I'm thinking of doing that becuase i dont have anyhere else, i live in suburbia and i cant go outside becuase everybody will see me, and i dont feel like taking a hike out to the middle of noware.

yeah man, but a lot of 'rents are aware that incense is pretty much SOLELY made for covering up the smell of weed. i asked my mom one time if i could get incense when i was 9 (way before smoking of anykind) and she damn near had a heart attack

yeah, my bro always burned incense when he smoked, so thats outta the question. i do use blow tubes, but a little smoke gets in my room, so thats why i spray axe. i could go outside, but i'd prefer to do it in my room.

open all windows and get a moist towel and put it on the floor in front of door, dont really know how the towel helps but it does. then just chill and blow smoke out the window. and if you are really paranoid spray some febreeze or Ozium or some cheap shit called Odor-Cide that works pretty good.

this is one of the best tricks for those who want to cover up their smoke.. just like sonic said, used the brown tube from the roll of paper towels, and stick a bunch of bounty fabric softener inside. exhale thru it, it works like a charm!

I live in a dorm and when we smoke in the dorms the dryer sheets in a toilet paper roll works perfect. Just make sure you put a towel under the door(s).

I won't smoke a joint in my room, just bowls. Then, if I can smell anything, I use the door to fan out the room. No need for suspicious window fans or incense sticks.
