What is your experience level? off and on with bag seed, now i'm onto the seedbank stuff. X)

What type of hydro set-up are you running?
Static hydroponic - hempy bucket

Your Equipment:
A) Type and wattage of lights. CFL - all warm spectrum. ranging from 12W to 300W equaling 2300W total equiv.
B) Distance from tops? (LST) so between 2 and 6 inches
C) Reflector type? bare bulb. tub is it's own reflector.
D) What are the bulb wattages, kelvin ratings, and schedule? see letter A, and 12/12
E) Is there a consistent fresh air supply? yes.
F) Do you have an exhaust fan and a circulation fan? just exhaust, passive induction works just fine.
G) Size of reservoir? 1/16 gallon? 1/4 of a 1/2 makes a 1/16th, right?
H) What medium if applicable. perlite and vermiculite ~2:1

Your nutrients and water:
I) If using rockwoll for clones or seedlings, did you rinse the cubes well, with properly ph'd water?
J) Source of water. (tap or filtered) What's it's ph? louisville water 7.0 year round.
K) Specific brand and N-P-K ratio for each bottle. List dosages (quantity per gallon) and current feeding schedule. Floranova grow then bloom. Bloom = 4:8:7 2tsp/gallon, i keep the excess in the fridge, only fert every friday, tap all week.
L) What is the ec/ppm of your unadjusted tap (or filtered) water? around 200 ppm?
M) What is the ec/ppm of your nutrient solution? 1.9 - 2 EC
N) What is the temperature of your nutrient solution? (reservoir high and low temps) 60's during the day, 60's in the night. GOTTA LOVE PURPS! :D
O) Does your ec/ppm show a rise or fall when you do your daily PPM check? don't check it cuz the plants a HEAVY drinker.
P) Does the ph fluctuate? nope.
Q) Do you foliar feed? If so, with what, how often, and at what time do you
spray? no way jose.
R) How often do you replace reservoir water/nutes? What does it look like before changes? i can't change it, it just washes out, i add more when the water is clear/almost clear in run off.

Your growroom:
S) What size of closet, room or hut? Rubbermaid grow box.
T) What are the temps and humidity levels while lights are on? 60's 30% ...With lights off? 60's 30%
U) Have you seen signs of insects in the growroom? NEVER!
V) Are the roots long and white, or brown and slimy? long and brown. discoloration from the nutrients?

Your strain:
W) What strain are you growing? Northern Lights X Williams Wonder X Ruderalis
X) From seeds or clones? Joint Doctor's SEEDS!!!! :D
Y) Is this an autoflower strain? YES, all i'm ever gunna grow in my little box. :)

yes, typically, it does. you can harvest early if you want. this type of plant is just an annual, only lives less than one year.

i wanna push this plant to the absolute limit.
i only got 10g of super buds off my other plant that i grew in a 32oz cup.
this one has the stickiest, fruitiest, most purple buds i've ever seen.
the only problem is that the buds are small and i want them to put on weight.

Shit, just noticed it's an autoflower. I know nothing about them. ignore me. :o

Good luck

Hey marijuanavillebilly sounds like you have a good setup goin. Yellowing of leaves is common among some types of bud. I've seen lower fans leaves start to yellow up during the end of the 3rd week of flowering of a 9 week plant. As the plant begins to flower it uses all its stored up energy to form the buds. Usually you will begin to see the lower fan leaves turn yellow and gradually make its way up the plant. The plant no longer needs these leaves to survive so it drops them instead of wasting valuable energy trying to keep them alive. Sort of like a tree dropping it leaves in the fall.
As far as getting the best yield, I would try adding a molasses based nut to your feeding schedule. Also maybe try finding a good bud hardener to use during the last few weeks as well.
Also I would maybe lower your ph a bit. 7 is a bit high for a plant in the flowering phase, and a good flush never hurt a plant. Hope that helped a bit. Happy Growing!

molasses... MMMMMM.
i'm now on a tight budget and the advanced formula of FloraNova won't allow mixing of inorganic materials and substances.
the only thing it accepts is lemon juice, molasses, corn syrup, and un-bleached sugar.
a flush is in store for this little "bud"dy. :D
will alll the old pistils fall off as the new buds form and white ones come out?
or will they turn orange, then dry red, then fall off and ruin the crop?
the trich's are all clear, i don't need a scope to see them.
i can just touch the buds and the plant sticks to my fingers... mollasses may make it too sticky? NOT! :D

Nothing can make the bud to sticky... LOL. As far as the pistols go... I don't believe they fall off. During the last few weeks of flowering the bud will swell and the pistols will begin to change colors and look like they are getting sucked back into the bud. As far as telling if its done, you might want to get a microscope to check the resin glads (unless you fell you can see the trich's well enough). They will start out clear like they are now and will change to a milky white then to the amber color. If your looking for a cerebral heady stone then harvest when they begin to turn milky white. At about 50% milky is around peak ripeness. This will give you the cerebral along with the physical body high. Harvest when most the trichomes are amber for (my favorite) the full body couch lock high.
You're little bud'dies look to be doing well. I'd keep an eye on your leaves thou. Even thou it is common for leaves to turn yellow it could be some kind of deficiency. If they begin to get little black spots on the yellow leaves you may have a manganese deficiency. This is often common in indoor growing. It normally shows up in younger leaves before older.
Like your potting container. Atleast McDonald's is good for something.

i just flushed it out, mixed fresh nutrience, and added ROBUST molasses.
it made my nute's go from humus smelling to ginger bread cookies. :P

the pistols may not fall however after your plant reaches ripeness the crystals [thc] will begin to fall off. The falling of the crystals or lowering of the thc doesnt happen over night. A plant must be over rippined, dry and have a airmovement accross it for at least a week or two. But your left with smelly nice looking buds tht dont get ya high. So dont over ripin!

the trich's are all white at this time and very visible.
they went from sticky to hard. i'm guessing thats the THC ripening.

Hey marijuanavillebilly, how are your little ones doin?

marijuanavillebilly

Use m.v.b for short. They are just fine and dandy. No black spots just browning off at the ends of the yellow. I just touched one and it fell right off. I picked all the fan leaves off only leaving sting ones behind.

So should the yellows be picked off or should they be left to die naturally and fall off by themselves?

Doesn't hurt to give the leafs a gentle pull. I wouldn't get into a tug-a-war with the poor girl.

M.V.B how far along into your grow are you?

A gentle tug and the fan leaves fall off, it's ok....if a gentle tug and it doesn't come off, leave it. If it's blocking light from a bud and it doesn't pull off, cut it off. You can always cut off a leaf that exhibits any one of the "three D's"....Dead, Diseased, or Dying.
