I apologize if this is in the wrong place, but hopefully I can get a quick answer and this thread will vanish :)

Ive never grown anything in my life, so I need a tip on just getting started.
Ive got one seed, and a 20 oz cup filled with miracle grow.
Im not expecting much, but I just want to try, mostly out of curiosity.
And who knows...if I learn enough through this experiment, it could turn into a life long hobby :)

So lets get to step one....should I transfer the soil to another container? And how far in the soil should I place the seed?
Any other help would also be appreciated, like how much sunlight, water, best place to put it, etc etc
Thanks, kind cannabis friends :p

start out by germinating the seed.

Get a wet paper paper towel and place the seed on it, fold it up so that the seed is covered on all sides and then place in a plastic bag.

close the bag and put it in a dark place make sure it is warm/ room temp.

in 2 - 5 days u should see a white root growing out, alow it to grow about an inch then place into soil so that the white root is growing down and so the seed is on the top or bairly under the surface and then water the pot.

This is where Im at right now:

The seed has sprouted, about a half inch out of the soil. 2 little leaves are forming and 2 more smaller ones are coming around.
This has all been done in the sunlight, but the time is coming to move it elsewhere if its going to stay alive.
I know I need a larger container soon, but Ive also considered buying a small light, new soil etc, to keep my little experiment going :)
Im not expecting a lot out of this little test, but the lessons I learn could be helpful in the future
