Quick growing question...Help a rookie out!
I apologize if this is in the wrong place, but hopefully I can get a quick answer and this thread will vanish

Ive never grown anything in my life, so I need a tip on just getting started.
Ive got one seed, and a 20 oz cup filled with miracle grow.
Im not expecting much, but I just want to try, mostly out of curiosity.
And who knows...if I learn enough through this experiment, it could turn into a life long hobby
So lets get to step one....should I transfer the soil to another container? And how far in the soil should I place the seed?
Any other help would also be appreciated, like how much sunlight, water, best place to put it, etc etc
Thanks, kind cannabis friends
