HOW WARM SHOULD THE ROOTS BE 4 OPTIMAL GROWTH ON A PLANT IM THINKING MY PLANTS ARE HAVING AN ISSUE WITH THE AIR INTAKE ON MY STEALTH CFL GROW THE AIR INTAKE IS AT THE BOTTOM AND EXHAUST TOP LIKE TYPICAL BUT WORRIED AIR COMING IN ROOM BLOWING ON POTS AS COMING IN MIGHT BE MAKING THEM 2 COLD AND HINDERING GROWTH BECAUSE CFLS DONT PUT OUT MUCH HEAT DONT HEAT THE SOIL OR POT GOOD ENOUGH BEFORE THE HEAT IS EXPELLED BY THE EXHAUST PLEASE ALL HELP WOULD BE GRATEFUL:

From what I've read on the subject......yes. if the roots are cold it does affect growth, however it affects are seen more in flowering than vegitive growth. I can't remember the optimum root temp off the top of my head.....but id say anywhere less than 60F would slow growth.
