Ants?

Does anyone know the best way to get rid of ants? They decided to start a bed in one of my pots. I tried insecticidal soap but its not doing the trick. If anyone has any ideas please let me know since i cant find anything about organic ant killer. Thanks for looking.

I've heard that cornmeal will kill them if they eat it and that they also stay away from baby powder...

IDK if it rings true though, this was a wives tell of sorts I believe, my grandfolks used it on the gardens and indoor plants.

You can get Boric Acid at the Dollar store (or any grocery) in the form of a roach killer. It's in a tall yellow plastic cylinder. Mix equal parts boric acid and powered sugar or something similar. (I did it recently and used a little bit of sugar cookie mix.) Put some in a lid or something that the ants can get into, place it near their trail. They will take it 'home' to feed the others and it will kill them off. Worked well for me outside this summer.

i think i might overwater to get them to come out and then spray them
