fertilizers

is it absolutely necessary to have fertilizers for an indoor grow, i have 250w hps and someone told me that if i dont have fertilizers it will just eventually die slowly. is this true? thanks?

it might not die, but it won't be worth it either. you can get some good, inexpensive nutes.
