OKay guys so I was chillin watchin a lil you tube and I came across a video titled PiratesCannabean: Balcony Grow lol this guy is from holland so he has a heavy accent but he planted numerous plants in one big pot and the end results were pretty nice so I thought okay what the hell Ill give it a try. So I dug a hole about as deep as a 5gal bucket but a lil bit wider and planted 7 plants. Everybody is telling me that the roots are going to tangle and the plants will die but it seemed to work pretty well for this fellow. So am going to start a grow log with monthly pics to track their progress. There a lil over a month here. I used miracle grow soil (for inground use) and am using their organic choice all purpose plant food for fert which is really sugar beet molasses. When the time comes am goin to use bone meal in their flowering period and of course throughout the last month nothing but water to give them the proper flush.

Thanks dude!! So you have actually tried this before? Cool!! Maybe you can give me a lil insight. How many plants did you plant in one area? And maybe you can help me spot the males and females. I know it's still a lil early to tell but 2 of the plants (from what I can see so far) seem like they might be female because of the vegetative growth in the nodes and the node spacing are very close. One of them seem like its goin to be a male because the node's are spread far apart and its the tallest one and there seems to be like a lil claw growing from the node. The other 4 I cant really tell anything yet their not really showing any signs of anything just yet. Ill post some pics here in a few days

...you should be fine. I assume that you can keep the critters off'n yer plants, and you did plant 'em in the actual soil around yer place? If they had to share a 'pot', they might be a bit cramped, but since they're in Mother Earth...

Just keep 'em watered and fed, and make sure to keep the Beasts of Eating at bay, and you should have a nice crop at the end of the year!

Do you happen to know the strain you're growing?

Yea I try my best to keep the critters at bay. I have been using ortho max just a few squirts tho. Am thinking the best way to do this is keep on topin the plants (as many times as I can before it starts to flower) and then do a lil super croping for max yield.

If ya smoke an want a harvest, id dig deep down with a shovel and give them some space, because the roots will strangle each other and maybe you will yield a 1/2 oz at best. When if you move them and i never tell people to do this, but in your case why not try an pull a lb. The roots are good as the plants are healthy as of now, but when you start having issues, there is not a thing you will be able to do. Roots will be too tangled then, but now is your chance to get them apart for much better yield.

I would seperate them beuties before too long. Youll be much happier in the end. The roots are going to choke them selfs out and cause your plants to be stunted..Id think

Looks good though, for now:stoned:

OKay guys This is the last week of July and Aug is just around the corner so my plants are getting ready to flower and since the plants have gotten so tall (almost head high) I decided to start super croping. How long does it usually take for the branch's to re-correct themselves for this is the first time I have tried this method.

Hey guys whats up!!! Its been a min so I thought I would post a update. Out of the 7 that I planted 4 of them ended up being females. (6ft beauty's) So it appears I got really lucky and the bagseed I used turn out to be pretty good (SO FAR) I guess I will find out come Halloween

Some crazy shit went down today. Right after I posted those pics I heard a strange noise coming from outside. So I go back to the window in my computer room look out it and guess what I saw!? A fuckin helicopter and it flew right over my lil patch I was like O Shit! So I waited for it 2 fly on by went out there and took 3 of the 4 plants. I left one just in case am being super paranoid. It kinda sucks that i had to do that but I rather be save than sorry! The buds still look yummy and everything will def post some pics. But not all is lost. I have another lil patch in a diff location. No where near as pretty as the one I have been posting but I didnt get to tend and care for it everyday.

Did the chopper hover or was it simply a coincidental fly over?. At any rate, nice work...wish I could trade samples with you...lol!.

I watched as one flew right over my patch the other day, then saw the count they had found in county's around mine. It went right over, turned around and over again, but never stopped or slowed down. I figure im good, but only because i saw it a mile away go around and around about 5 or six times. I think its a corn field, but not sure, i just know it didn't slow or id be flippin. Plus i still had some shade on most of them. But living so close to an airport, i see plane's all the time, just not choppers like this one as it was on a mission. They found close to 800 plants around me though:(. I think i would only get worried if they hovered over my area, but only a fly over means they got other business id think, hope;)

Your patch looked good, il bet ya spread em out next time and your going to double your buds in the end tho:hippy:

I dont think chopper's are looking for a lil patch of a dozen plants or so...they are looking for the huge crops. The way the laws are changing so fast, it's not worht their time and fuel to even slow down unless they see a big grow. Stay discreet and small and you will be fine. Some of us have paranoia left over from years past and every overhead chopper noise would bring a rush of adrenalin!

Yea thats what I was kinda thinking to. It would be a waste of time and money for them to drop in on me. Another thing that spooked me is there is a tobacco field like 30ft away from my patch and they have came in and chopped in down and hauled it away. Am not sure if any of them spotted it but I wouldn't be surprised if they did. I mean They are right there in the open. I never thought the plants would get as big as they did being all bunched together like that. But overall am happy with the results. Plus I still have one plant still out there. The three I did pick look real nice and beefy tho!!
