    A lil Experiment

OKay guys so I was chillin watchin a lil you tube and I came across a video titled PiratesCannabean: Balcony Grow lol this guy is from holland so he has a heavy accent but he planted numerous plants in one big pot and the end results were pretty nice so I thought okay what the hell Ill give it a try. So I dug a hole about as deep as a 5gal bucket but a lil bit wider and planted 7 plants. Everybody is telling me that the roots are going to tangle and the plants will die but it seemed to work pretty well for this fellow. So am going to start a grow log with monthly pics to track their progress. There a lil over a month here. I used miracle grow soil (for inground use) and am using their organic choice all purpose plant food for fert which is really sugar beet molasses. When the time comes am goin to use bone meal in their flowering period and of course throughout the last month nothing but water to give them the proper flush.

Thanks dude!! So you have actually tried this before? Cool!! Maybe you can give me a lil insight. How many plants did you plant in one area? And maybe you can help me spot the males and females. I know it's still a lil early to tell but 2 of the plants (from what I can see so far) seem like they might be female because of the vegetative growth in the nodes and the node spacing are very close. One of them seem like its goin to be a male because the node's are spread far apart and its the tallest one and there seems to be like a lil claw growing from the node. The other 4 I cant really tell anything yet their not really showing any signs of anything just yet. Ill post some pics here in a few days

...you should be fine. I assume that you can keep the critters off'n yer plants, and you did plant 'em in the actual soil around yer place? If they had to share a 'pot', they might be a bit cramped, but since they're in Mother Earth...

Just keep 'em watered and fed, and make sure to keep the Beasts of Eating at bay, and you should have a nice crop at the end of the year!

Do you happen to know the strain you're growing?

Yea I try my best to keep the critters at bay. I have been using ortho max just a few squirts tho. Am thinking the best way to do this is keep on topin the plants (as many times as I can before it starts to flower) and then do a lil super croping for max yield.

If ya smoke an want a harvest, id dig deep down with a shovel and give them some space, because the roots will strangle each other and maybe you will yield a 1/2 oz at best. When if you move them and i never tell people to do this, but in your case why not try an pull a lb. The roots are good as the plants are healthy as of now, but when you start having issues, there is not a thing you will be able to do. Roots will be too tangled then, but now is your chance to get them apart for much better yield.

    Peace:rasta:
