QTY-------------Necessary items:
1- 20 gl storage bin with matchin lid. Reservoir- $13.00. Lid- $3.00

30- 2in net pots. The actual O.D (outer diameter) is 2.125 (2 1/8) and works good with (2in hole saw,)) $15.00

30- 2in neoprene (similar to EZ-clone but vary a lil in size, just make sure it fits inside the net pot snug). $20.00

15- EZ 360 sprayers. $12.00

1- 250 gph pump. $20.00

1- short, cheap waterhose. $10

1- screw on ballvalve on the waterhose isle. $5.00

1- 2in hole saw (wood, plastic). the cheap one not a bi-metal. $8.00

(damn i really want to load pics and show how nice it looks)

Anyways, Snap lid onto reservoir and drill, 30 holes with 2in holesaw evenly spacing while doing it. ( i just did it by eye and it worked pretty good.)

After cutting your first 2in hole make sure your net pot fits in and does not fall through the hole. As it should'nt. If so you will have to make modifications to net pot.)

I then took net pots and cut off the bottom 3/4, or 1/4 from the top so that your roots can hang with no obstructions. Do this to each one.

For the aero part i just used my 5/8in adapter that comes in package with pump. (they have 3 sizes. 1/2, 5/8, 3/4. The waterhose i had was very snug with the 5/8) I measured the length of my reservoir and cut the waterhose 2x that length so i could have 2 rows of sprayers. I then used a nail that was a 1/2 the size of the ez 360 sprayer to poke a holle in the waterhose evenly( by eye is fine, every 2 or 3in) spaced throught the 36in.

Once i completed this tedious task i then filled the reservoir by gallon jug (for 1st time) to 3in over the top of waterpump. It was 12 gl's for me. I then propped up one end of my ghetto aero sprayer with a water bottle i had cut a groove in to hold it above the water line.

I plugged it in with the lid on and netpots/neoprene inserts in place, and this thing works like a charm.

I think a 450gph would be a little bit nicer and have more pressure, but the 250 works fine.

i like it to much im about to build 3 more and use them for veg and flower, all transitional lids makes for VERY EZ swithching on a perpetual harvest. Although for flower you would need to throw in some PVC bases with pvc pipe touching the underside of the toplid for support and weight, same concept as megagarden thing.

Hope this helps someone. :)

Great post. Cant wait to try something like that in the future and the DIY is so much cheaper than buying a system.
