Ok all, sorry I havent been on here for a while. I was a little busy setting up my grow space. Anyways heres the basics, I was given free seeds by members of the forum. Mattakasqueaks and Dylan (thanks again guys for the seeds) My setup is a 4x4x6 ft. grow box that I decided to build straight into my closet with 4 4ft flourescent lights. I was given 20 seeds each of which has already sprouted (Which is the best germination rate that Ive ever seen.) I will be adding to this at least once per week. Sorry about no pics but I accidently broke my digicam (gonna get another one in about a month so hold on until I can get it.)

This thread is mainly so Mattakasqueaks and Dylan can follow how Im doing.

Thanks Dylan, I hope you best of luck on your grow also. How many plants are you going to grow? Im going to choose the best 2 from each strain I got after sexing them.

Well its been about a week or more so I think its time for an update,first ill give some bad news. After a freak accident when my lights fell on most of my plants I have nine left from 20. now for the good news It turns out that I have three triploids(dont know if this is the name for it but it means that instead of two leaves at every branch it has three) and all of which survived the accident. the rest are doing fine and are loving the lighting. for a more in depth look youll haft to wait until I get that new camera.

pollyploid! those are great! they'll grow super dence buds, and are usually very potent too!

Thanks for correcting me dylan, polyploid gotta remember that. Hopefully ill get at least a male and female or even better two females and a male. Hopefully the children will carry this trait.

Okay, its been somewhere around a week. My lights keep falling down so I decided to mount them to the ceiling of the grow box instead of having them hang by their origional chains, luckily no more deaths still have nine left and my three prized polyploids are doing great and outgrowing the others in the grow box! I just bought some Natural Growth fertilizer(schultz brand) in which I intend to use in a week or two. transplanted all of them into new 8in pots until they outgrow their container.

Im thinking about getting some lowryder seeds, anyone know the best place to get them?

I think that if I do get to cross my polyploids and the children have the same trait mixing it with lowryder and backcrossing them until I have a full autoflowering polyploid strain that stays under 2ft. Anyways its just a dream and would be just as cool to have a normal polyplod strain.

Todays the end of another week and it time for an update. A day or two ago I got 10 30w cfls and the plants are growing a lot faster than i ever expected they would. My wife is thinking about growing herself and i just know its gonna cost me more money on lights. Also I got a new job at $12 an hour at a factory punching out pipes which is really gonna help me on this grow. The digicam is coming soon I promise.

All nine plants are still healthy at about a foot and a half tall with about nine internodes and thats just with a few 4ft. flourecent lights, I cant wait until they start getting the full effect of the new lights.

Nice to see you dylan, How you been?

It sounds like you already got your grow well underway, hope you the best on it.

Also something good happened today I got high! yay, A good friend came down from Indiana and brought some preety killer shit, I was stoned for like 5 hours before I could even get up. He even gave me about an ounce for letting him crash at my house for the next week.

wow, sounds nice!

i too got high for the first time i about 3 months. i called my PO and was asked to come in for a drug screen, so i did. i was clean and everything went fine, so afterwards i went out the woods to check on my plants, smoked a bowl, and enjoyed nature for a while. man it was great! sometimes you don't know what you got 'till it's gone.

i think i will try to get some pics up today, so keep a look out.

Sorry everyone for the one month absence but I have a lot of bad news. The 5th I was involved in a car wreck and was hospitalised. Heres the story, I was driving my Daytona to richmond and went around a blind curve and hit a semi in its side. I woke in a hospital with my wife beside me asking how i was feeling. It turns out that I had broken my right leg and a few ribs also a few scratches and gashes here and there, They said I was lucky to have hit it in the side and not from the front. They held me until yesterday when I was released.

On the way home I had to stop by the pharmacist and fill out a prescription of hydrocodone 7.5mg and Skelaxin 400mg. When I finally got home the first thing I did is crutch myself to my growroom to find all nine of my plants dead and dried out.

Well thats my news, sorry mattaka and dylan I was really hopeing to give you all some of the smoke from these but I guess that dead plants are better than a dead grower. I can send you some skelaxins or hydrocodones if you wish.

haha you sound like me ,went to see my p.o for the last time n failed the drug screen but she let me off anyway! i couldnt believe that shit (never failed one till that one).10 mins after seein her i was out in the woods plantin some ferns :d

sorry to hear the bad news, diablo, i hope you feel better and recover quickly. too bad about your plants, but i guess that's how the cookie crumbles some times. i was looking forward to seeing the final product, but no worries i can't smoke for about 8 months anyway.
