I have heard both ways, but I was curious what everyone else does. During flower, cut the lower fan leaves and any shoots that won't produce more than a bowl or 2 or leave them? I have been leaving them, but my gut says cut them since they really aren't getting light...seems like they are just wasting energy that would otherwise go into bud production up top. Any thoughts? Thanks for the input in advance!!:stoned:

I usually leave 'em alone unless they're turning color or dieing. I try to keep the stress levels to a minimum and let my plants produce chlorophyl.
..But, during late flowering I might remove some of the larger fan leaves to get light to lower buds.

I'll let you know in a month and a half. I cut all of the fan leaves off of one of my plants in the log. The other two I've let grow naturally. We'll see who has the bigger yield.

If you're growing multiple plants, do the same yourself. Let us know how it goes!
