when do i pick??

hi there i was just wondering do you have to wait till all the hairs on the buds go brown before you pick? i am into the 8th week of flowering with 4 ak-48 and 2 northern lights they are about 6ft high looking healthy just not all the hairs are brown thanks:smokin:

Best way to tell is get a 30x microscope and look at the trichomes, you want the majority cloudy and some amber (1-60%) colored. This usually happens for me when the hairs are between 60 and 80% brown. I start the flush when I notice a few amber trichs and harvest a week or two later, longer = more "stoney" effects.
