Switching from 24/0 to 18/6

will this affect plants/ plant growth in any way?

currently living with some other people, but the lease is up and i need to move out! so i mean, shit, that is SIX hours of power i can save, so i plan on switching.

Im somewhat concerned about possibly stunting or stressing them by doing this, or maybe even some type of confusion as to cutting the light back to flower....

the seeds are from a white widow clone that got pollinated with rouge pollen from a neighbors outdoor grow (fucker, good ol colorado.) but are showing basically the exact traits as the previous ones.

any advice would be great.

im running a double lamp 55watt pl-55 tek lamp for veg... its about 9600 lumens, and for bloom a GrowBright 2 Foot 6 Lamp High Output T5, about 12000 lumens. i know the price difference may not be much, but its still money, and im broke haha.

could i possibly move into an apartment with this set-up?

oh i have that exact same book. trust me, its my go to for everything, and just straight theory development as well...


but im not following it religiously, im just curious as to my particular situation. yes it says less light more females, but im using flourescent lighting which "flickers" if you will, so i see no need to let them chill from heat or what have you, i want these fuckers to GROW haha

I usually switch from 24/0 to 18/6 after one week....:smokin:..& I switch from fluorescent tubes to HID after 3 weeks....usually....:)

you wont run into any problems.cannabis wont switch to its flowering stage until a min of 12 hours darkness.ive dicked around with many light variations and havent had any real problems occure.i usually switch from clone under 24 hour flourescent to hid after 2 weeks then to flower to weeks after.u will b fine

word up. im in the process of moving from a phone bought at 7-11 to one bought at an actual phone store. when this happens, i'll take some pictures and share the wealth :-).

but with that wattage, including fans, say, 600.... is that okay for a 1 bd apartment?

its only like 575 sq ft but with a bomb ass perfect walk in closet, IN THE BATHROOM (so i can run an extra "vent" fan in the bathroom for a little support.

but is this too much wattage for the place, i know i need to change ALL the lights to low CFL's just to help, i just want to stay around the same as the neighbors......

...it's what I'm mainly running here, mesef. Just make sure your grow chamber doesn't get too much over 83f, and you should be ok (try fr 78 if you can)

My livingroom grow is a nice CFL based thingy, and needs way less ventilation (though it do need some)...

Just remember: 600w is basically the same as a good gaming PC, or entertainment unit, or a hairdryer at 1/3 power.

You should be fine.
