started with 20 gallon container
Added 2 bags of soil with the goodies bought from wallmart
Added 1 large bag of perlite, and two bags of peat
2 cups of bone meal 2-13-0
1 cup of blood meal 12-0-0
2 cups steer manure 0-0-1
3 cups of dolomite lime
Had trouble finding kelp meal or green sand, what else can i use?
soils neutral(7)

Then place soil in 5 gallon containers with steer manure mixed with another bag of perlite at the bottom( holes cut on the bottom of containers for drainage).
Am I doing everything okay besides the water soluble plant food

The steer manure is used to feed the roots at the bottom of the 5 gallon pail. Lots of growers forget this method. Perlite is mixed with manure for the roots to move around at the bottom of the 5 gallon pail.
