Is it unwise to feminize a plant from a fem seed?

I have been looking into light stressing my females to get some fem seeds ($5-10 a seed is pretty insane)

Is it unwise to feminize a plant from a fem seed?



I just want to make sure I don't get any funky genetics.

I searched but couldn't find anything specifically on my question.

I also have some regular seeds I bought and I can just as easily breed some fem seeds out of those.

I just have some plants from fem seeds in my veg room that will go in the flowering room with my other regular plants. Want to make sure I dont ruin them in any way.

Except under extreme emergency...it's best not to breed with femmed seeds. Best to use normal breeding process to continue quality genetics, and fem your own. Make sure you keep the genteics seperate.

Femming femmed seeds can bring about genetic defects and undesirable genetic traits like suceptibility to stress, overstretching, all aroma, no 'kick'...

If you absolutely have to breed femmed seeds (if running out of seeds) best to pollinate with a true male.

Possible...yes. Desirable...no. Cannabis genetics have been dicked-with enough, IMHO.
