canna butter with a hermie?

I have a hermaphradite plant. Its a good looking plant and nice sized too. I almost cried when I found out the sex. Well I decided to continue to grow it in another part of the house with hopes of making some butter or other type of edible. Seeing how this is my first time dealing with a hermie has anyone any suggestions? Will it make a difference if I try to make butter with the hermie? Should I chop it early to avoid all the seeds? I'm at a loss and could use all the help I can get. Please give your method and any results you ended up with (butter,brownies,oil, maybe bubble hash?). I'm also wondering if I'm just wasting my time.

I don't think you'd be wasting your time at all. Considering you've probably been growing the plant for 2 months, I would take the 24 hours or so it takes to make the butter. Im willing to bet you'll get an okay result.

Is this your only plant? if it is, i'd grow it out like a normal plant for a while and go for it. If anything, it will be good practice.

I'm going to let it work its self out and see how the he/she looks. I guess I'll post back in about 3 weeks. Tell everyone how it looks and probably ask a few questions about the butter:thumbsup:.
