Foothills Chiropractic got a notice from Jefferson County on Tues 12/29, to stop distributing mmj or face $1000 fine every day they stay open. This on the heels of a judgement in favor of a dispensary in Centennial.

The war is here. We have to stand up. We find out which elected officials are in charge and we VOTE THEM OUT.

Or, if the dispensary is even somewhat big, just pay the $1000 a day to run it. And show them how much money you have to donate, b/c that is what is supposed to happen anyways. :)

better be pretty big if they're gonna be able to afford 30k a month on top of all their other expenses.

i dont know about anyone else..but donating 1k per day to try and make a statement is how you go out of business. Much easier to move shop or get creative and offer delivery to existing patients. Either way you cut it you can do alot to continue your biz with the 30k you would throw away by giving it to the MAN..to make a point:wtf:

Notice was delivered yesterday. Judgement came today.

Depending on the exact reason for the notice (ie, zoning, against federal law, etc) I'd guess it will become a non issue. They'll most likely stay open and pay no fines..

Nah, I heard from Jeff today and he said they are done. They still will offer chiropractice and all the other services. It sucks cuz they were the only one out here.

Amen! This really is a war... against a war, based on ignorance and perverse puritan notions. And now the momentum is with us. So rise up, against the machine. Vote the stupid out. And if enforcement violates your Colorado rights, sue the F out of them! It may be the only thing that makes THEM get it!

Jefferson County is anti-pot.

The reason Rocky Mountain Organic Medicine survives is because he's in the city of Golden and Jefferson County will defer to the city.

Any dispensary in unincorporated JeffCo is gonna get shut down.

Send letters to the politicians and the sheriff. I've sent letters to the governor, both senators, JeffCo Sheriff Mink and my congressmen. Let them know you're voting them out just as soon as the next election rolls around. Fight fire with fire!!

My Christmas wish... A flood of lawsuits for places like Jeffco from the MMJ Revolution.

While I despise wallowing among the filth and treachery that is the reality of these reactionary regimes, now that cannabis is a legal reality, a certain amount of legal posturing is going to be necessary (from our side this time).

With the passage of Amendment 20, the war is already won. The forces of darkness can't bring themselves to believe it, and will continue to skirmish (because that's what they do). At this point, what's left is to hash out the terms of the peace, and as you know, the devil is in the details.

jeffco is nothing but a bunch of crooked lowlife thieves. they outrright stole money from my wife and I. my guess is all this stems from the fact that there is a dwindling supply of friendly cannabis smokers going through the justice system pipeline. oops prison stocks are dropping. next we will all get sued by the state claiming we are stealing their money. you cant have 40% of the worlds prison population with just murderers and rapists, marijuana has been their bread and butter cash crop prisoner for far too long.

meded so you can mededicate to mededitate

Most marijuana people are (traditionally) easy targets. We don't shoot back.
