Water-only organic soil mix

Hey guys, was reading this article on an organic soil mix that the author says will allow you to grow an established seedling all the way to harvest, while just adding water (no nutes) the whole way. Was curious if anyone else has read this, tried this, and just thoughts in general on the "water only" concept. Here is the article, definitely sounds like it would be worth a try:

It looks like a pretty good mix. It would probably do quite well all on its own. Its just another one of those things you'd have to experiment with to see if the hype equalled the facts.
