Bong Question for bong experts.

Hey-

I am about to clean my bong, but the problem is I don't have anything to plug the hole in the downstem with.

Can anyone reccomend anything to plug this hole, other than tape or paper towels? I don't have any corks lying around and I'm not about to buy a bottle of wine just so i can clean my bong....

I usually get pics from google image search. Make sure you turn the filtering off though.

why not just take some rubbing alcohol and soak the bong without worrying about plugging up the hole? why do you need to plug the hole anyways? it will dry eventually.

Because rubbing alcohol tastes bad afterwards. And when I clean my bong, I plug the hole so I can fill the entire bong (neck and all) with hot water, and then I put a scoop of OXI CLEAN in there and you can actually watch it bust up the resin.

Turns out that paper towels wadded up worked pretty well, and she's lookin clean and ready to roll.
