Nutrient Question

I am about 2 weeks into the vegetative stage and i was wondering what kind of nutrients should i be giving to my plants. I know they need more nitrogen in the veg. stage but how much is enough and how much is too much. Thank you for your input.

Ya, you're right about that you want the Nitrogen to be the highest value in the NPK rating (30-10-10 for example). If using chemical nutes, start with 1/4 the recommended dose, once a week. See how they respond and increase the nute concentration gradually.

now say my nutrients are 2-0-0.how much of the recommended dosage should i be using? I have a bunch of different nutrients and dont know which to use when.:jointsmile:

I am using it this grow and am getting good results. It can work for Hydro or soil. I recommend reading the whole thread.

Here is what I do. After the seed has sprouted I use only ph'd water for the first week. The second week I use Fox Farms Big Bloom mixed 1/2 strength every other watering. The third week I follow the Fox Farms Schedule mixed 2/3 strength every other watering. After the forth week I begin to feed full strength every other watering until 2 weeks before harvest, which is when I switch to using ph'd water and molasses. Seems to work for me just fine. Plants love it.
