so, these are my plants that are left for me to believe they are or, hope anyway lol.
there about 3 months old and, this season has really sucked weather wise. they didnt do much the first 2 months, stayed really small for a while. and with nutrients in this past month i brought it up to where it is now.
but i usually have decent pre flowers by now this time of year, but this season has left me scratchin my head a bit.
i think other than no pre flowers they look pretty good, let me know what u guys think:jointsmile:

but yea those GIRLS look great.. I love that fresh light green new growth. That's how you KNOW your plant is doing good!
Is that bagseed or good genetics. If bagseed it could explain the late flowering.
redrosesforabluelady
08-25-2009, 03:30 PM
I got the bucket for like 2 bucks. Which is a steal lol
The seeds are good genetics . I got them from jamaica a few years back. The guy said there jamican tigerstripe
Grown same strain past three years and never flowered this late.... Its pretty weird lol

He's how we do it in NORCAL. These are clones planted May. They would have gotten taller, but bent them over so my security would be intact.

so since todays my day off i decided to go out and finally buy a digital camera.
and yep you guessed it, first thing i took pics of was my bitches.
now that i have a quality camera i got some internode shots for ya of some hairs.
i even threw one side shot of it so you can see a reference of how tall. keep in mind theres like 6-8 inches in the bucket u cant see.

Very nice looking plants. Its been a crappy year i think from comments iv read here this year outdoors. Its been no rain, or not enough rain. I didn't get rain in the beginning for about 3 weeks, but then we got a bit to much. Its been better as of late and i hope for you too.
That guys posting in everyones thread, but he never comes back if that helps.
Nice topping too. After i topped mine i got six top's. Really helped the plant. Some people don't top and like that big cola, but double the bud sites are just fine with me:thumbsup:

i got a whole lot of rain and not a lot of very dark cloudy days. i believe it rained 26 days or so of june. it sucked completely lol
but now it is certaintly starting to look better. but i hope weather doesnt interfere with harvesting time and force something early. cause that would suck lol

Hey looking good, just wondering what type of nutrients you used/are using on it?
right now im just using mircle grow bloom booster because ive yet to get a chance to drive to the store i go to to get the " real" blooming stuff
its really just anything with high phosphorus or however u spell it lol
if it has a high percent of that, its gonna be good to use
redrosesforabluelady
08-29-2009, 01:27 PM

do you know how many hours of darkness your plant is getting

Yeah I gave them the first dose of high P ferts on wednesday, hopefully they start forming bud sites soon, I am starting the realize the advantage of an early strain in the area I am in, as the first frost is predicted for September 15, which isn't nearly enough time at this rate. Right now I believe total day light hours are just a tad under 14 hours here right now.

yea im basically right around the same thing with you. i usually harvest middle to late sept. but because of how strange this season was. were gonna have to try and push it till mid oct.
you should start noticing a difference in a week , it says to only feed them like once a week but i do twice to 3 times. cause im using only 15-30-15 solution.
bonedaddy420
08-31-2009, 12:56 PM
I am also using a 15-30-15 fert. Anyways, I usually only water/nute on Wednesdays, with occasional straight waterings on sundays if its been hot (like this weekend), and I usually use a full scoop(full dose) of the nutes in each of my water cans, along with a table spoon of molasses, and I use lemon concentrate to lower my Ph. Do you give full doses every time you feed or do you do half doses if you feed a few times a week?

i was told to also feed just once a week but i never listened lol i do a a hole dose for 3/4 of a water can lol..
my plants were never harmed though.... im probably gonna get reemed by someone for saying this but sometimes i feed like 3-4 times out of the week.
it really depends on how much bug your plant is. i water my plant almost every day, except for rain of course.
if u look in my posts from a year or 2 ago i experimented with sugar water as a substitute nute.. it worked kinda well lol
but its not like they dont show great improvement. where i made my last top it has grown more then a inch a day
im actually about to go smoke and post some pics, so theryll be some new pics for ya in like 15 min, lol
redrosesforabluelady
08-31-2009, 03:02 PM
the first one is the growth i was talking about over just 2-3 days... its a good 4 inches.... i drew a circle around it with red, but u can barely see it lol
the other bud growth is doing very nice as well. already has small bud formed bud sites
theres one hair on her that is like a full inch already it looks so awesome lol
i just really hope we dont get our first frost untill oct or so. cause these bitches have easily another 2 months to go

some of the are starting to stink pretty good lol. dont know if its a good or bad sign ti is already
- another note is that there has been a significant amount of color change in pistils already.
but the pre flowers are still just barely formed.
man this season. .... is so not cool
LetsSeeYa
09-03-2009, 03:54 PM
Sounds like your pistils are pulling up that fert your given her.
Ya think? Nice looking plant man:rasta:
redrosesforabluelady
09-03-2009, 07:24 PM
that could be it lol
but ive never had pistil color changes this early though
eh.. no biggie.

09-05-2009, 12:39 PM
so today i checked the plants out. and there are definitely doing better then last update.
they are showing more matured bud sites. more so just the crowns though.
ill update pics of them either tomorrow or sunday.
redrosesforabluelady
09-06-2009, 02:02 PM
so the tops of my plants, more specifically the ones with nice tops starting to grow on them are starting to bend at the top towards the sun.
i cant really move them though cause i have an electric fence for my dog and the spot i have them in is the best
are there any solutions that wouldnt involve moving the plant.
its weird cause im looking at it right now. and the sun is beaming on the whole thing... so idk :(
help!!!!!?!?!? lol
bonedaddy420
09-07-2009, 12:58 AM
I don't understand the problem. Is it they are growing over a fence top thus being able to be seen?
redrosesforabluelady
09-07-2009, 01:11 AM
no, not cause there being seen, but just because the whole plant gets hit with sun. so i sont understand why some tops are bending in some directions..
actually one was bent away from the sun as well
bonedaddy420
09-07-2009, 02:08 AM
Oooohhhhhh, well in that case I wouldn't worry about anything!
redrosesforabluelady
09-07-2009, 08:51 PM
so heres another update on how things are going...
i moved them just a little so the bending stopped. they seem to be doing better.
bud sites are filling in nicely for the crowns, not so much yet for the internodes but there getting there..

09-12-2009, 07:00 PM
plants are looking really well, coming along very nicely..
days are starting to get significantly shorter now so buds should really start to fatten,
my only worrie is that the frost is gonna hit in the very beginning of oct.
idk if thats gonna be enough time for them to fully flower:(
redrosesforabluelady
09-13-2009, 02:36 PM
alright. :) things are starting to really look good:thumbsup:
it looks like oct.6-10 im gonna be taking her down due to predicted first frost:(
so now is the nerve racking time to see how fat the buds will gughet and how much bigger....:stoned:
ughhh.. i hate waiting for some things lol
got 12 pics today for ya. of course in posts of 5's so check them out and let me know if they make you go "ooooooohhhhhhhh" lol

so im going to pull my plants on or around oct.1 because frost is predicted around then,
only thing that sucks is that i dont have the ability to see the trichs really up close so i cant see if there clear or cloudy. there definitely all over though lol
give me some feedback and some other ways i might be able to tell.. cause i dont know any other way other than having a high powered magnifyer which i dont have:(

You can use the ole "75% red hairs" method. Looks like you've got a ways to go. Can you cover them during frost?

If you know anyone with a decent camera to take close up shots of your plant ,my uncle has got a pretty expensive camera so I'm going to cut a bit off my plant (when she's ready) and get him to take as close up shot as he can then transfer the image to my pc then enlarge it and see if it works,
I've got a 5 mp camera on my phone and if I get the focus right and enlarge it I can zoom in pretty good on my pc so his pro camera should do the job,
not an answer because I haven't tried it ,so if anyone has tried it let us know, please.

Dude go to radio shack and tell them you want the $ 13.00 microscope.. I got me one today and I know they are in radio shacks all over the states for 13 or right around that much.. It is just a small handheld one that is shaped like a small camcorder.. its like looking through a range finder or one eyed binoculars.. real handy. they are 60x - 100x's but I leave mine at 60x's... I PROMISE you will love it!!!!!!! I would think you have maybe like 2 - 4 weeks but im no pro at all..but if weather wont let it be then use your own judgement!

Yea I had 2 girls and one of them was doing alot better than the other but for some reason when they started budding then the one that was doing so good just started dying off and has not stopped.. but the one that wasnt doing hardly any good is the one that is producing good amounts of bud... hell I cant explain it.. it just happened but I do hope everything works out for you. Good luck bro!!!!!!!!!!!

i think my plants water logged and dying. and im supposed to harvest soon
wtf do i do

10-03-2009, 07:47 PM
I t looks as though they will need a while more but only you can really judge how much longer. Just get that microscope so u can check the trichs and pay attention to the plant. If they need time an u kno its going to frost you should cover them if possible as opposed to cutting them early.Just my opinion. I use clear 6mil poly. im covering like 26 i have outdoors at night to help with all the rain we have had here in the north east. It will also keep my plants safe through this upcoming cold weather. Hope they turn out 4 u.

You can cover the pot or ground(not sure what ur growing in)near base of the plant to keep water out until harvest.
I've had to take a few early myself. Soooo much rain. Had some bud rot. Try not to stress. It's still gonna get ya high once dry.
